I had the skor donut and I almost cried tears of joy, that was the best donut I’ve ever had and I will have dreams about it. Also had the blueberry turnover, the pastry was so flaky and fresh and the filling was perfect! Bring everyone you know for the delicious morning sugar rush! I wish I took pictures but it was gone too fast! The server was so lovely, and helpful! I can’t wait to go back!

They treated this customer right with a perfectly put together pulled pork poutine big enough to satisfy the hungriest people, and flavor to spare! Oh, and I HAVE to mention: Bacon Maple Donuts!!! Friendly and fast service to boot. I'm an out-of-towner but I'm bringing my family back here!

Cheryl provided a lovely full Turkey Christmas dinner with amazing desserts for our family of 15 yesterday. We pre-booked naturally, and our area was decorated with a Christmas theme, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was wonderful. This may be a yearly event! Double Dz's is a standout spot, thanks to its hardworking team and incredible food.
Pictured is my favourite: the Dirty Pig sandwich—a perfect mix of smoked brisket and pork in whiskey BBQ sauce on sourdough with cheddar, served with homemade, hand-cut, perfectly crispy fries. Their meat is sourced from a local, high-quality butcher, and you can taste the difference in every bite. It’s amazing and outshines Sam’s Place in downtown Peterborough.
Also pictured: the banquet burger and a variety of doughnuts. Everything here is top-notch, but the cronuts are a must-try—they’re absolutely to die for! With a rotating selection of doughnuts and pastries, Double Dz's easily beats places like Pastry Peddler in Millbrook.
It’s a must-visit for some of the best food in the Peterborough area.

Apple fritter was 5 stars and really big but the coffee was subpar. I was told it was fresh decaf but it clearly wasn't.
Update: Stopped in again and had a decadent doughnut and a good coffee. Very happy with the treat.
