Had dinner here on Saturday with my wife and 3 young children. The food was great, staff was friendly and atmosphere was also very pleasant. Will definitely be going again and recommend to anyone with young kids. Very happy and satisfied with everything!

Used to be good - went recently and it sadly was a bad experience. 1. My order was wrong and the manager (I assumed, or someone higher up) was the one bringing it over, I mentioned it was wrong and didn't receive an apology. Or even a smile or any kind of emotion, they looked miserable. 2. By the time my order was fixed and brought back out, my parnter had already finished eating - would have been cold with the wait time. Didn't offer us any solutions or coupons even. I ended up taking mine to go. 3. Very dirty inside. If you touch the lights just above your head in the booths, the dust and whatever else goes every where. If you look up a lot of the piping looks to not have been cleaned in a long time. The walls as well as the floors could have used a wipe. Then the small plates we were given for the bread weren't the cleanest as well.Years ago this used to be one of my favourite restaurants, sad to see the place not being taken care of.Food tasted really good warmed up later is the only good point I have!

Past couple times we have been to the Peterborough store it hasn't been the greatest, we decided tonight to give it another shot. We should have gone elsewhere. We order the calamari diavlo alot when we go. I don't know why it was changed, but it was disgusting. There was so much breading I don't even know if there was any calamari there. The breading was dry and flavorless. The skillet is supposed to be sizzling with delicious oils on the bottom, it lacked both.I ordered the chicken parm, it was pretty tasty the last time I had it. There was barely any cheese or sauce on it. I asked our server to take it back and ask the kitchen to fix it. Which they did, unfortunately it took 10 minutes. For a restaurant that had maybe 12 tables in it, that's to long to fix a meal.Once it came back the breading was so hard, and the pasta was cold it couldn't be eaten. Our server was ok.....he didn't check to see if the meal was ok. I had about 4 bites and pushed it aside. He came to clear our plates and asked if I wanted it to go. Which obviously I didn't.....the manager was behind me. She heard our conversation handed our server her card and told him to take care of it. She didn't even bother to take 2 steps to speak to me.Honestly, the Peterborough ESM has gone so down hill over the years. It's not worth going to anymore in my opinion

My wife and I decided last minute while we were out to stop into Eastside Mario's for lunch. What a mistake that was.I ordered Mario's spaghetti and meatballs which was under cooked and the meatballs just tasted terrible and my wife had Capaletti which was also under cooked and barely any sauce.Waited awhile for our waitress Danielle 342 to show up. I mentioned this to her and all she said was oh and took our half eaten if that away. She came back with the Bill and was standing there. So my wife paid the Bill and also gave her a 15% tip???I asked did she speak with the manager and she said yes. So I said is it a lady or guy. She said a lady. So I said I would like to speak with her. She left and I never seen anyone so we just left.We eat out a lot and probably like 10-15 times a month but this place is off my list now.Place is just terrible!

Just saying after visiting in many years. Food was not as advertised. I mean, "bacon wrapped scallops and more on top", was just bacon pieces and a few small bay scallops.Charged one dollar more than what was shown on the menu.Entre came before the "all you can eat" salad and bread. Had to ask 3 times for salad and bread. The salad had barely any dressing on it, or cheese. The bread tasted like plastic.Bait and switch is all I want to say. It could have been a bad day there or just another tight franchisee. Either way, we won't be gong back there.

Had dinner here the other night, we were lucky enough to have Sam taking care of us. By far the best restaurant experience we have had all because of his attention!

I ordered the chicken fettuccine (dinner portion or at least I think it was the dinner portion for $21.99). Anyways, the container it came is was crazy small! I’ve eaten in restaurant and the portions are much bigger than what what they tried to pass off as a decent portion for that price. Container was 7.5 inches x 5.25 inches x 2 inches deep…See picture. Also, the lettuce in the salad was mostly orange. Not an enjoyable order.

Went for dinner at 7:20 on a Thursday evening. Waited 20 minutes just to place a drink order. Went through 2 different happy birthday songs before bread made it to the table. Gentleman who finally served us seemed apologetic that no one had waited on us yet. Was the food worth the wait?

I don't leave many reviews, but I had too this time. So I'm not sure fan of east side Mario's typically. Every one that I've been too I found the food awful. But that changed when I moved to Peterborough and went to this location. The food is amazing!! My fiance and I go here at least twice a month. The service is great too. I find myself recommending this location very often to many others. My dad is a huge fan of East side Mario's and is currently undergoing radiation for cancer. I promised him that when he's feeling a bit better, I plan to bring him here for lunch because I know he'll enjoy it and could use a good meal that won't disappoint :)

I placed an ordered for delivery. I ordered from the dinner menu. Extremely small portion. Not worth the money.
