I’ve been to this restaurant twice and both times the meals have been incredible. Hats off to the host and chef, I apologize for not knowing their names but they were lovely and very accommodating. This an amazing family run restaurant and they really but the culinary love they have into their food. The squid was amazing as well as the patatas bravado. Pro tip sit on the couches in the winter, they will definitely keep you warm and toasty!

Is a spanishTapas sharing menu where we had the grilled artichokes with a fresh lemon flavour, grilled roasted red peppers stuff with cheddar cheese. Both a really good start. We then had the morrocan chicken and steamed octopus. Soooo good. The fresh bread was great for sopping up and cleaning your plate. We were too full for dessert but will try next time. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsDietary restrictions: Offered flexibility on any meal prep right when you order.Parking: Easy street parking

I wish I could give this place 100 stars. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The food is amazing and exactly how it is in Spain. If you haven't had the pleasure to visit fresh dreams yet, get there asap. I highly recommend trying the paella!Edited to add that the scallops are also a must have. Every visit we find something else to fall in love with.Dietary restrictions: One of our party members is celiac and the accommodations for this were above and beyond our expectations!

I recently had my 22nd birthday dinner at Fresh Dreams. The owners opened the restaurant on a Sunday, even though they’re normally closed on that day, and provided us with the most amazing dinner and service. The most standout dishes for me were the artichokes and the stuffed peppers but all the food was marvelous. The chef is truly outstanding.Arvelo was a godsend in terms of planning and executing the dinner. A budget was set and he was able to accommodate it.I am disappointed I didn’t get enough photos of the food but I cannot wait to visit the restaurant again.

I went for a birthday dinner with 6 other people a week ago, and we're still talking about it.The server recommended that we order everything "family style." We ordered five different dishes (two of each) and shared them all. This allowed us to eat small portions throughout the evening while being able to share all the food, which opens up the table for more conversation and true enjoyment of the evening. We were there for 3.5 hours and easily could have stayed longer. If you are looking for a quick bite or you are a picky eater, please do not visit this restaurant as you will be doing yourself and them a disservice.Every dish we had was incredible. Even something as simple as the patatas bravas was better than I could have hoped for. I truly applaud chefs that understand the value of simplicity; there were no "tweezer dishes" involved, yet everything was beyond flavourful and cooked perfectly. My personal favourites were the grilled lamb and the Gratin Cheddar stuffed red peppers. I could eat here every day and be satisfied.I wanted an authentic cultural experience, and this is exactly what they gave us. From the recommendations to the sangria, the almond cake, and the atmosphere, everything was perfect. The chef noticed I was opening gifts, so they brought out a cake and a rose. We also got a third pitcher of sangria on the house!Although I've written a long review, I can't say enough good things about this place. It is so warm and welcoming - the staff and the atmosphere. I enjoyed everything about it. I already can't wait to come back to try the meatballs, the scallops, and the paella.

We had a fantastic experience with a group of six. In total, we shared nine dishes between us. Each one was prepared in-house with the freshest ingredients. The attention to detail added to the experience, whether it was the crusty bread with olive oil with the salads or the changing of the plates from warm to cold to match the food arriving at the table, making for outstanding service.I had the Kawartha Salad and the Moroccan Chicken, which were both flavourful and delectable. The sangria was also great and I shared in three bottles of Spanish red wine at the table. The almond cake was sampled at the end, to cap off our meal. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout the evening.My only, very small, criticism was that the building temperature was a bit cool in our section and so it was nice to wear a sweater in the winter.Next time, I promise to take pictures. Looking forward to trying the new winter menu!Vegetarian options: The menu has vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian options.Dietary restrictions: The kitchen fully accommodated my dietary restriction to seafood and even inquired about gluten sensitivities before the order went in.Parking: Street parking is available on both sides of the street or along Hunter. During the day, it is paid street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: This building is not accessible for wheelchairs. There are steps leading in and steps to different areas with tables in the restaurant. There are no automatic doors.
We went there for my 65th birthday and loved the food.I was going to choose a shrimp dish, but went with the owner’s suggestion of scallops instead and enjoyed every bite. My husband had the paella and was very happy with it.Be prepared to wait if you want the paella though.I would even order it to pick up after work.
Just had an amazing experience at Fresh Dreams. The food was fresh, high quality and tasty. We shared a bunch of dishes and were impressed by every one. My friend has an unusual allergy which they happily and skillfully dealt with. The service was impeccable and friendly. Go to this restaurant you will love it.
