I had the chicken roti and beef roti (both mild) and they were excellent. Spicy enough to make you twist your face around every now and then but not spicy enough to require a beverage. I will be returning!

I am not one to write a bad review but I was flabbergasted at my experience today and this is not right. I am all for supporting a small family run business but this is not ok.
First off I waited over 35 mins for ackee and four doubles. No one else in the restaurant. Which is fine if the food is any good which it was not. My doubles were beyond greasy and had no filling whatsoever(pic for reference). Absolutely terrible. I got ackee and 95 percent of it was rice and coleslaw. The place is absolutely disgusting and dirty as well. The floors , fridges , counters all so dirty. Honestly what a shame ! I hope they can turn this around and salvage this family business !

I've been meaning to write this review for months and am finally getting to it. I visited this place during the mid-afternoon on Friday May 30th. It had come highly recommended by a friend of mine and I was on my home from Hamilton when the opportunity finally arose. Disappointed and disgusted is a good place to start. I was initially told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for an order of phoulouri, 6 doubles and 4 roti skins. That wait turned into to one of of over an hour, but I was willing to stick it out because I thought it would be worth it. As I'm sitting there, I start to notice how dirty the place is - from the floors to the countertops to the glass in the refrigerator units (they were cloudy!). I finally got my order and by the time I walked back to my car, which was parked directly across the street, the paper bag was soaked with grease. I headed back on the road and ate one phoulouri and one double - they were literally dripping in grease. I wasn't going to backtrack and return to the restaurant and threw the rest of them out when I got home. Let it be said that I will never be back. I highly recommend that a Health Inspector pay a visit to this establishment.

As a Jamaican, I feel sorry for folks that love food from the islands and live in Peterborough cuz this place does not cut it. Dry rice, no gravy, likkle bland coleslaw and the food doesn’t taste right. Not spoiled but just not that good. The owners are getting lazy cuz they are the only West Indian restaurant around but they can do much better. I suggest they go to one of classic Jamaican establishments in Toronto like Albert’s Real Jamaican or Ali”s Weet Indian Roti to see how their food should taste.

I ordered the oxtail and found a piece of a Splenda packet in with it, which turned me off right away. The portions are large, however majority of it is rice. The seasoning was okay but lacking. In my opinion, it’s not worth the price.

I ordered jerk chicken by uber eats, totally different taste and stuff, maybe because i ordered it last minute

Got delivery from here and it was great! Best doubles I’ve ever had, they were so pillowy soft and chewy. Good sized portions too.

The hype is real.

The food here is quite good! They give good portions as well.

Ordered doubles and chicken roti on Uber eats and it was fantastic. Still super hot when it arrived at my door. I could have eaten 5 doubles they're so tasty 😋 and the roti was flavourful and massive! Will definitely order again.

Beyond friendly! Incredible service! Insanely delicious food quality! A true taste of Jamaica here in Peterborough !
I look forward to seeing the friendly faces and amazing food 10/10 best chicken in town if you haven’t eaten here you are missing out big time give this place a chance if you haven’t tried you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED (jerk chicken dinner is a must have)
