Home Made food. Really comforting. Jerk Sauce is great but I need more of it on the inside for the inside chicken. Chicken is a lot inside. Need sauce for that. Employee is very nice & friendly. Great food although store is empty.

I was walking home and passed the restaurant. Young man out side was bbqing something good and was polite. Got a block away and still could smell the delicious food he was cooking. Turned around and went back. Store was clean but looked empty. The young man came in from cooking and I asked what was good. He suggested the daily special. Jerked pork. I got a large. And ordered some Samosa. I only regret was waiting the 4 blocks it took me to get home before eating it. Huge amount of rice and peas on the bottom with fried plantains in the corner. But the amount of pork I got for the 12$ they charged made me feel like I was ripping them off. This will feed me for 2 meals. I am a big guy and can eat. This place is amazing. 5stars for amount of food 5 for quality of service and if I could 10 stars for the taste. Bbqed and blackened just right. Not dry or tough. So good I’ll be back to try the curry goat and roti this weekend. Also say yes to the sauce and the slaw. Both outstanding.

New in town and was looking for something to eat. Got the Jamaican beef patty and it was fantastic. Good, authentic food and very friendly staff. Will definitely go back again!

Hard economical times.Bought the j*** chicken, no rice n peas, just white rice since it was at the end of the day I was told. Got there at 4:50 and fella mentioned they closed at 8pm ?************** had no pimento. Chicken was dry.Thank goodness for the Grace Hot sauce to add some flavour.Worst $11 I spent, I hoped it helped him a tad though.I was walking out and the guy didn’t even look up at me or say have a good day. He knew his food was bad. He should’ve told me to get something else to be honest. I know J*** very well.Place looks like it hasn’t officially opened. Atmosphere is ghetto, loud fridge whirring sound.Not sure about all these reviews giving this place the stars it has. They must mostly be either fake accounts, friends/family, or a mixture. Go to Island Cream Caribbean Cuisine up a couple blocks if anything.I feel bad leaving this review. But I can’t recommend it. It’s not good.
