Went there with 4 other people lunch. The server recommended sitting on the front patio versus the back patio because of bees. We sat on the front patio for 15 minutes and no one came out to get our orders. Felt like we were forgotten about so we walked out and went down the street to one eighty where we had an amazing service.
The food was delicious. The beetroot salad was an absolute standout, one of my best. Atmosphere made Our visit more enjoyable, Love this place

Went there on Saturday and things have changed since we were last there. The burger use to be so big it was hard to get it into your mouth now it resembles a McDonalds cheeseburger. Service was very slow and had to ask for our bill several times. We sat on the patio on the east side by the fence. The area on the other side of the fence was full of garbage. Is it that difficult to pick up some garbage. Everything about this place just seemed like they are on life support. Needs to step it up.

Really mediocre meal unfortunately. This was once a pretty good place to eat. Stopped going there a couple of years ago actually because of the food. Skip ahead to about a month.ago and we went with a friend for dinner and it was very good and great service. Imagine my surprise when four of us went yesterday and whoever is cooking and/or prepping in their kitchen needs a refresher course. Don’t think I’ll waste any more money there.

If you desrch Google worst restraunt in peterborough this came number 1. So a bunch of us went. The price for frozen pub food was unreal. Waitress was great. No fault of hers. The prices you expect fresh good food not frozen.
I ordered the 10oz steak with mash potatoes & vegtables. My steak was tough & full of fat. The vegtables were raw & not cooked or steamed & although the mashed potatoes were real & not instant they tasted sour like they may have been made with sour cream. Was not a fan

Not enough sauce on the ceasar wraps, and the fries were not crispy. Service was nice

Our server Halle was out of this world! The surprise cocktail she made was so refreshing and perfect for summer. Her bubbly personality made our experience out of this world.
The kitchen ran out of the wing sauce I wanted so they mixed a few together for me to get it close to the original one I wanted. No complaints about both the food and service.
Will definitely return.

While they have nice seating, good gluten free options, and friendly staff, it is too expensive for what you get, small portions, with clearly frozen fries.
A Must-Visit!
Kettle Drum offers a perfect combination of great ambience and delicious food. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and tastefully designed—ideal for both casual dining and special occasions. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-presented, making it a truly worthy experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a satisfying meal in a cozy setting!

My husband and I visited Kettle Drums Restaurant and Bar for a simple dinner. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the food quality did not meet our expectations. I ordered fish and chips with sweet potato fries—a personal favorite. The sweet potato fries were cold, thin, and resembled packaged chips, not the fresh, warm fries I was hoping for. The fish also appeared pre-packaged rather than freshly prepared.
In addition, the service was surprisingly slow, especially considering the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time.
While the atmosphere and staff were nice, the overall dining experience left us a bit disappointed. Hopefully, improvements can be made, as the place does show promise.
Excellent squash soup and really good beet salad.
