OMG! Totally recommend the Mango salad. I don’t know what the wee dressing was, but it was delectable 😊 The best service and some entertainment with it. Love this place.

Ask for the Mexican experience they take care of you they are friendly and kind I couldn't ask for a more family like delicious time if you are in peterborough you need to go if you are traveling it's the most authentic and go to restaurants put it on your list!

We live out of town but when we visit family in Peterborough this is a must stop for everyone in the family! The food is fresh and authentic - so tasty, flavourful and just the right amount of spice. The owner is so friendly and gives great recommendations. The restaurant is welcoming and you feel like you’re visiting family. We always have the beef barbacoa tacos but can’t wait to try more items on the menu. If you like authentic Mexican food you have to try this place!
We were just in town for the emergency vet, unfortunately. When we stumbled across this gem. Delicious food and excellent service! Turned the day around a bit.

Besides being the absolute best tacos in town, the service that is provided is top tier. Hector is the absolute nicest - you will never meet anyone who is happier to be at work. He is clearly doing what he loves. The food is a manifestation of his passion. Every taco is a 10/10. When you’re swamped with choices of Mexican restaurants in Peterborough, your best option is La Mesita. No one makes better tacos.
