Stopped by for lunch while in Peterborough for job-related activities and was very pleased! Very authentic Mexican and La Mesita will definitely be on my list next time I'm in the area!
Ask for the Mexican experience they take care of you they are friendly and kind I couldn't ask for a more family like delicious time if you are in peterborough you need to go if you are traveling it's the most authentic and go to restaurants put it on your list!
We live out of town but when we visit family in Peterborough this is a must stop for everyone in the family! The food is fresh and authentic - so tasty, flavourful and just the right amount of spice. The owner is so friendly and gives great recommendations. The restaurant is welcoming and you feel like you’re visiting family. We always have the beef barbacoa tacos but can’t wait to try more items on the menu. If you like authentic Mexican food you have to try this place!
