$$$$$ 27.99 for a buffet that's super tiny it's mandarin prices not even a couple years ago. This is just insane especially for Peterborough.

If this business was smart they would half thier buffet price to bring in 5 times the quantity of guests.

No one is going to pay $60+ for two people to eat a super small selective buffet. Absolutely crazy. You could eat almost anywhere in town cheaper than here.

Better off to spent the $15 and get a massive to go box at country garden.

As a customer and a worker at Loon Ho, the food is amazing but the relationship with one of the owners have dragged me away from the restaurant due to their greed for money. My parents and I worked for free for the whole week to help boost the business and now the other owner wants to separate after seeing potential for the business. They don't appreciate the effort my family and I put into the business to reopen the buffet. Now they relieved my family of our duties and want to operate the restaurant on their own. It's unfair and I don't want other people to be lured by ignorant and greedy owners to their business. Don't support these type of people.

I totally ignored the ratings this restaurant had and said it couldnt be that bad. Ordered General Tso and Fried Rice. I will never ignore another Google review again. Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Did not looked cooked!! My general tso chicken was so soggy and barely had any chicken it. Unbelievably bad!!!

I have fond memories of Loon Ho when I was a little girl. My whole family used to come and eat in. Unfortunately, my father stopped coming over a year ago, but I kept trying to find something to keep me here for the nostalgia.

There is still NO dining in. Only take out. Makes me wonder why they don't want people in the restaurant. The chicken hasn't tasted like chicken for the last two time I ordered. It has a strange texture. I think it needs to be tested...

The portion of rice this time was very small. I think this is my last time at Loon Ho. Sad because I love visiting a place I came with my grandparents and father.

Save your money. Even the mall Chinese tastes better.

I was disappointed with the appearance of my order, the taste and the ingredients the order contained. The prices were industry standard at about $13.00/dish.
I ordered the Szechuan chicken and Beef with mushroom & bamboo shoot.
I was expecting both the chicken, and the beef, to be a nice dark color, plentiful and with little vegetables (maybe 30% vegetables).
Instead the meat color was pale, the dish was tasteless and the meat content was about 25%.
Disappointing food, and it was my first and definitely last time there!

I'm extremely disappointed with the attitude and conduct of the gentleman that took our order over the phone. I asked twice for chicken fried rice, since it's my son's favorite along with the order number. When our order arrived, the chicken fried rice was not with the order. I checked the bill and it also wasn't present. When I called the restaurant, the gentleman that took my order said that I was wrong and that he never makes mistakes. Never? When I told him my son had heard me confirm the order, he again wouldn't admit to his error. He said that he could send the rice, but that I'd be charged the delivery fee. I said that would be fine. But he wanted me to admit that he didn't make an error. I told him I couldn't do that. So, he hung up on me. Absolutely unprofessional to say the least.

It's my birthday and we used what little change we have to get the bus here. When we arrived, there was a sign that said take out only. They have not bothered to update anything online! TAKEOUT ONLY.
