Madoi Sushi Restaurant

The service was slow to start. The food was reasonable however, when we went to go pay, we had two children with us when we were dropping off for university. He didn’t have a student ID with him so they wouldn’t honour student discount and another child is 14 and apparently he needed an ID as well so we had to pay $171 for four . Don’t go!!!

Was served sushi that clearly had been pulled off someone’s plate who didn’t eat it, vegetables were oxidizing and the rice was hard

Great food, had lunch with my brother, service was fantastic as well overall I recommend if you like all you can eat sushi.

Came for my birthday and chose this place out of other AYCE options in the area as I come to Peterborough in the summers.

Nice decoration upon entrance and got seated right away. Service was prompt and friendly. You get a small tablet for ordering which is always nice. Got some food for the little boys to get them occupied and dishes started coming out right away!

I took away a star as some of the naked chicken wings were undergone after biting into them. The spring roll (I assume frozen?) was cold in the middle. I don't think though that other dishes were cooked from frozen.

Sushi was decent (probably better with dinner menu) and little boys liked the cooked food. Got a discount for my birthday (not advertised on menus) which is a nice touch. Would give them another try and will ask for wings well done 🙂

We randomly walked in for dinner over the weekend, and the food was absolutely delicious.

At first, the first server we met wasn’t very warm, but became friendlier as the evening went on. The second server, however, was very warm and welcoming from the start.

Aside from that, we had an overall great experience! The Egg fried rice was my fav dish for the night

I ordered Green and Red Dragon Roll for take out and it tasted absolutely amazing. I got it within 15 min which was great 🔥

Incredibly expensive. Salmon sushi room temperature, the salmon should be cold. $170 for 1 adult and 3 children. I’m speechless. There for 49 minutes. My daughters 13 birthday she gets a 20% discount BUT the bump the price to an adult. I ask about it and they say if they give a discount then they upcharge the rate. So wrong. It’s just not right. Paid it and out. Won’t be back. It’s so wrong.

Best sushi restaurant I’ve ever had! This restaurant is absolutely amazing, the go to sushi spot in Peterborough. Madoi always has the best quality food, and the greatest staff from the servers to the kitchen staff. If you are lucky enough to met Tom when he’s not working like a mad man in the kitchen he will always bring a smile to your face. Tom is the best manager around we look forward to seeing him every time!!!

Best sushi spot in the city by far. Great service, all of the staff are awesome especially Tom the manager. I never get sushi anywhere else

Very nice place for an all you can eat. The sushi pieces aren't too big which I like, and there's lots of vegan friendly options!
