Madoi Sushi Restaurant

Incredibly expensive. Salmon sushi room temperature, the salmon should be cold. $170 for 1 adult and 3 children. I’m speechless. There for 49 minutes. My daughters 13 birthday she gets a 20% discount BUT the bump the price to an adult. I ask about it and they say if they give a discount then they upcharge the rate. So wrong. It’s just not right. Paid it and out. Won’t be back. It’s so wrong.

Best sushi restaurant I’ve ever had! This restaurant is absolutely amazing, the go to sushi spot in Peterborough. Madoi always has the best quality food, and the greatest staff from the servers to the kitchen staff. If you are lucky enough to met Tom when he’s not working like a mad man in the kitchen he will always bring a smile to your face. Tom is the best manager around we look forward to seeing him every time!!!

Very nice place for an all you can eat. The sushi pieces aren't too big which I like, and there's lots of vegan friendly options!

I love Madoi, the staff is super nice and the food is great! I love that they have vegan options, like the mushroom rolls are delicious.

Service here was great, staff wise.
But the food is probably some of the worst “sushi” I have ever eaten.

Before I get into this review; I am a celiac and have been attending this location monthly for the past year. This place is AMAZING. The menu options are always a hit, I’ve never left feeling unsatisfied. Also- they are always so great with avoiding cross contamination as my gluten allergy is incredibly sensitive to even the slightest contact. The people who work here are always so kind and helpful with menu options for allergies. Definitely my fav place for a great dinner out in PTBO. 10/10 🙌

Food is terrible and tastes like aquarium water. Sake tastes like wet dog and is brown. Bathrooms were so disgusting and have not been cleaned- possibly ever. 2 drinks and dinner was almost $100 for one person! Do not go here!!

Great AYCE sushi. Great service. Freshly prepared food served hot. I love the variety AYCE offers. If I could afford it I would go once a week. Keep up the good work and your efforts are appreciated.
