I have eaten at this restaurant before when in town. Dropped the kids back home after break and ordered here. Had dinner delivered. No issue with the delivery service, it was all on the restaurant end. Order 4 steak fajitas dinners ok, but 2 came with NO steak, just onions and peppers, then there was the pesto salmon. Looked good until we opened the lid. There was a hair in it. Needless to say that is my last trip to Maple Moose.

Sandwiches were good size, quality, and taste. Poutine was a bit cold.

Service was good.

Not a bad place for a lunch while in downtown Peterborough.

We met up with friends today at this location. The restaurant seem cold not temp but atmosphere. Tables were too close together and the music was loud. Our server did offer to turn it down for us as we wanted to have a conversation. Our food was fresh and hot, good but not memorable. We did enjoy our visit with our friends.

Nice lunch steak and some mashed potatoes
But pool table $2 felt on a higher side should consider not charging

Kid-friendliness: Yes plenty of room to stay with them

This place must have got a new chief or owners or something, definitely won’t be going back here anymore.
First off, this is the second time I’ve gone here and their doors have been locked, don’t know what’s up with that, do they not want service? Then the waitress tried to blame the cold, but that’s not it, because the first time this happened was in the middle of July.
Secondly, the food was DISGUSTING! My burger had CHUNKS of burnt bits on it, and my bacon was almost raw. My salad tasted weird with the sauce, don’t know what that was about. My fiancées fish and chips tasted horrible, terribly undercooked and her salad legitimately made her puke. For $55, that was a waste of money.
AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

Came here with a large group and made a reservation well in advance. The restaurant was virtually empty aside from our group. It took over an hour for the kids to get their meals, and another half hour for the adults to receive theirs. Some orders were incomplete and one meal never arrived so we cancelled it, leaving that person hungry. On top of that, a tray of drinks was spilled on one of the kids. The kids meals were reasonably priced, however, they charged an extra $3-4 for a drink, and the ice cream that included was never offered. When we insisted on speaking with the manager, he was rude and unwilling to hear our concerns. We will not return to this establishment, nor would we recommend it.

Very greasy food. Very slow service. Why have that many tables if you can't even service half of them?

Overpriced garbage. Seemed very understaffed.

Maple Moose Pub

I had dinner at Maple Moose Pub and it was such a great spot for a chill evening with Kamsi . Cozy downtown vibes, not too crowded, good ventilation, beautiful decoration, and the lighting was just right!

I got the Beef Dip Sandwich and oh my… ?. Shaved roast beef on a Vienna loaf with Jack cheese, crispy onions, and garlic aioli, served with a very flavourful “au jus” dip. At first glance, I was a bit worried that the beef might be dry, but a dip in the au jus took it to another level — rich, tasty, and paired perfectly with the sandwich.

The house salad was fresh and crunchy, adding a nice balance to the dish. For $19.21 (tax included), I honestly couldn’t ask for more. Plus, our server Megan was friendly, and the food arrived in about 15 minutes!

Kamsi got a burger ? and fries, and liked it, but I didn’t taste because I was a little too full from my meal.

Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing about the meal. I usually like my dishes peppery, but I understand not everything can be that way ?.

This place is definitely one I can return to. Good food, good vibes, and fair pricing.

(I’ve had this in my drafts since end of June and just had to post now because I woke up craving the sandwich by 3am ?).

It’s a beautiful spot, and the servers were super friendly and did a great job. The food was quite mediocre, my burger was over cooked and lacked flavour.
But the fries are awesome!!

I ordered wings. On the menu it says “all wings comes with veggie and cheese/ranch dip”. I didn’t get any veggies when I had my wings. I also asked sauce on the side. The waitress said ok but the wings we got is blended with sauce. The washroom is super warm and has no toilet paper. Nice decoration and fair price but the service isn’t good. Food is mediocre and feels like microwaved.
