Way too expensive!!! and the service was sooo slow and the waitress was way too distracted as it was not busy too much unnecessary small talk with others. It took 30 minutes just for the garlic and cheese bread.
Great food my family loved it. My son wanted to try the hot dog eating challenge needless to say we both made the wall of shame but had a great time trying. He forgot his lucky dinosaur the staff put him aside until I come back a few days later. The staff are always friendly and the food is always great, it's one of those restaurants you always enjoy. Marty Moos is a hidden gem in Peterborough.
Update, 6 years later we tried the eating challenge again, I won! Still a wonderful family restaurant.
Stopped for dinner on the Friday of May long weekend.
Food and service were excellent.
Saved to my google map favourites.
Will be back again for sure .
Highly recommend the Chicken Taco salad .
My brother sister and I surprised our Mom with dinner for Mothers Day. If you order the chicken pot pie, make sure you phone and order it a half hour before you arrive.
Overpriced and over rated people will catch on soon enough with all these wonderful reviews very bland food you could make at home for 3 times the price pretty snobby to overweight people as well
Great service great food. Big menu.
Good food .. but a tad expensive.
Chicken Pot Pie!
MY FAVORITE 😍
Order it on the way..
Loved the server!! She even sang a little song about pie 😉 The waffle fries were amazing, the vegetables were perfectly roasted fresh vegetables not frozen and the pies were the best restaurant pie I've ever eaten, we tried three and lived all of them. Everyone enjoyed their meal immensely.
Great portions and food at a reasonable price. Come hungry. Staff are fantastic and friendly!!

Great food
A nice place to grab some home-style grub!
We actually saw it reviewed by Beard meets Food, and decided to give it a try. Not disappointed!
There is a food challenge, but Valentine's Day didn't seem like the right time to try it. :D
The schnitzel was good, served with pasta, why not! The dessert was really good.
Service was great, super warm and friendly.
Reservations are recommended, I think we lucked out and got a table without one.
Dining room is simple and functional with lots of parking out front, and easy access to Hwy 7 and the 115.
Do yourself a favour and try the chicken pot pie. It takes about 30 minutes to heat it up, but worth the wait. Enough food for lunch and plenty left over for dinner too. We also had the rib chicken combo with the regular bbq sauce. Great flavour and huge portions. Fries were hot, crispy and tasty. Good coleslaw too. Friendly service in a family setting.
Great food and service. The restaurant is a little dated. I'll go again
Always a great spot to visit. Big portions, delicious food, great service.
