My friends and I visited McThirsty’s Bar in Peterborough recently, and while there was no wait to get in and we were seated right away, that’s about the only positive part of the night. Our table was placed directly beside the man doing live music, and it was so loud we couldn’t even have a proper conversation, not exactly the environment you expect when you’re out to enjoy a night with friends.After less than eight minutes inside, a few of us went to use the washroom. There was only one bathroom available, so we went in together for no more than two minutes when a man came banging and yelling at the door. I honestly thought we’d walked into the men’s washroom by mistake because of how aggressively he was acting. When we opened the door and apologized, we were immediately told to leave the establishment. We were escorted out, separated from the rest of our group who were still inside, and harassed by people on the patio as we stood outside confused and embarrassed. At no point were we made aware of a “one person per bathroom” policy, and had we been told, we would’ve gladly followed it. The entire situation was handled completely unprofessionally and left all of us feeling humiliated for absolutely no reason. The treatment we received was unnecessary, rude, and disappointing. I would never recommend this place to anyone after that experience.

The servers/waitresses i had was very bad at their job. Monday 4-5pm. Drink selection is great though. i was on the patio and the server had very very little menu knowledge and didn't specify what would and wouldn't be add ons. I would not return here by choice on those reasons alone.

Great food and beer selection, however got double charged for a drink and waitress refused to take it off of our bill.
We were there Friday May 16th second table from the window approx 6pm I had a burger my wife had a taco bowl.

Great local pub. I come here for the daily wing special from 4-6 pm. Wings are awesome, beer is cold. Quirky and unique...a peterborough staple.

Pissaliis patio, lol, you had to be there. never had a bad brew or a bad time and the menu slaps.
