Wow ? the best fish and chips. Also such excellent service. Very friendly and accommodating.

We order from them at least once a month and love their fish and chips. Crisp thin batter, good fries and you can order ahead of time for the time of your choice; very convenient for pick up.

My go to for weekly fish and chips. Food is hot and fresh, owner is a lovely person. Deserves our support.

Ate here once but was not impressed. Won't be long before the place closes for good. No breakfast or lunch being served, only takeout for dinner 4 days a week. With all the downtime during the pandemic this place should be looking inviting. Instead the outside is filthy, spider webs and cobwebs all over signage and windows.

We went here on the recommendation of a friend who said that this was her favourite place to go for fish & chips. It didn't disappoint. We ordered the fish special - the good sized portion of fish was hot and the breading was thin and crispy. The fries were what I would call "chip wagon" fries - the best I've had in years. The meal came with a large bowl of awesome coleslaw. and also came with pop or coffee. The meal was served quickly by a super friendly young Chinese girl who, when she noticed that my wife's coffee was too strong, immediately brought over new coffees for both of us. Plus, the whole meal came to just over $20. For ambiance and good food - Jacks is one of the best in Peterborough, but what this restaurant might lack in ambiance - it makes up for by serving the best fish and chips in town at a reasonable price. If you haven't tried it - you don't know what you are missing.

A great local spot near my workplace. Friendly staff, good diner style food, and good prices. It's hard to beat the price and quality of their fish lunch special!

Went there not expecting much. The halibut was unreal, possibly the best fish and chips in town. Coleslaw was also delicious, will be back!

We used to enjoy going to Nichols oval for fish and chips but today we got a rude awaking as to quality and quantity of fish to chips. The previous owners gave you large pieces of fish for the same money that today’s owners charge fo a half piece of fish and chewy dry fries. We will not be going back to this restaurant and will be looking for another fish and chip restaurant for future meals .don’t get me wrong the fish tasted great but we had to look to find it literally

Great meal terrific service

The food is fantastic, and the staff even more so!! I had ordered the fish and chips for take out a few weeks ago and they were amazing. Today, I had the BEST Paleo burger I've had in Peterborough. The meat was fresh, not frozen, they used real cheese and accompanying vegetables were fresh and crisp. I will definitely not only go there again, but recommend the to everyone I know.

Best Fish and Chips in Peterborough! We always order The Halibut for Two. Always hot and cooked to perfection, never greasy. Friendly and fast service. Highly recommended!
