Always enjoy popping in for a bite and a beverage.
If you drink beer and wine, this place is decent enough, if maybe noisy overall. If you’re a cocktail drinker I’d go somewhere else. Everything is very overpriced given the drinks are mediocre at best. I asked for something to be muddled into my drink in addition to the infused simple they have and the server argued with me saying “we don’t have to do that because we use infused syrup” and then didn’t do it. The difference between my request and what was on the menu would have added all of 10 seconds at the start of making my drink, and given we were one of 4 tables it was a simple way to improve the experience.
So here’s the deal… I’m new to Peterborough. I’ve traveled the world, seen more bars than I can count… but last night… something happened.
It was a chilly Sunday (or Friday in my world… time’s a concept when you’re grinding nonstop)… and I walked into One Eighty Sports Pub. And let me be clear… the doors didn’t even finish opening before I felt it. That vibe… instant. Peace… safety… that rare sense of welcomeness. It hit me like a warm handshake and a nod from the universe.
Now full transparency… the gentleman working that night told me his name… and I forgot it. That’s on me. I’m working on being better with names, especially when someone leaves such a strong impression. Because he was everything you want at the end of a long day… calm… kind… professional. “Gentlemen, we’re coming up on last call. I can offer you a drink or two… how may I help you?” Class act. Me and my buddy Bad Fish shared a drink and walked out smiling.
Fast forward to tonight… we’d crushed a huge project, and I wanted to treat myself. Grabbed dinner at Agave… then searched “sports bars near me” to catch the playoff game. One Eighty popped up again. I walked in… and that feeling hit me all over again.
This time it was quieter… Panthers vs. Carolina on the screen… and I took a seat on the opposite end of the bar from the night before. That’s when I met Natalie.
Let me be real… Natalie stole the show. She’s not even technically a bartender… just someone stepping in to hold it down… and she absolutely owned it. Studying psychology… radiating warmth… welcoming energy… and sharp as hell. The kind of person you want to become friends with because she makes the whole room feel better just by being in it. An absolute rockstar.
Gracie was there too… calm… kind… balanced. She was the harmony to Natalie’s lead vocal. And together… the vibe was effortless. Real people… real connection… zero pretension.
And whoever is behind hiring this crew… take a bow. You’ve built something rare. One Eighty isn’t just another pub… it’s a warm… safe… positive pocket in the middle of a cold world. A place where you can walk in alone and still feel like you belong.
So here’s my takeaway…
If you want a safe… no-drama… feel-good kind of place where the energy hits you before the doors even close behind you… One Eighty Sports Pub is it. Whether you’re new to town… celebrating a win… or just chasing some peace in a pint… this is your spot.
Natalie… the heartbeat.
Gracie… the harmony.
To the gentleman from Sunday night… your kindness didn’t go unnoticed.
And to the owner… props. You’ve built a place worth talking about.
Respect… and thank you for the hospitality 🙌
The food was DELICIOUS. I wasn't sure what to expect but honestly was amazing. Soft, yet crunchy and flavorful in all the right ways. Servers were all very attentive. Very reasonable wait times- especially since it was busy!
We ordered mac and cheese and grilled pesto chicken with sweet potato fries. So tasty. Prices were good, too. Av $22 person.
Great if you're looking for a bar vibe... but extremely loud. Music is playing, people talking and tv sports audio playing all at once. Hard to have a convo with person across or even beside you. Something to just keep in mind. Clean restaurant though, and cute decor.
Would eat here again.
Liked it here! I had the Beef Stroganoff Pasta: tender New York Strip Loin, paired with fettuccine, fresh asparagus, and mushrooms, all combined beautifully into a rich white wine cream sauce, topped with Parmesan and served with a side of warm bread.
The beef, mushrooms, and asparagus complemented each other so well and “married” the sauce. It was my first time trying Beef Stroganoff, and the flavour stayed with me.
The ambience was cozy, the customer service was great, and pricing was fair. It’s a nice place to stop by after getting tired of the long walk around downtown. It could get a little chatty and fill up fairly quickly.
I don’t remember the drink’s flavour, but it was refreshing and just not my fave.
If you’re someone who likes your creamy meals to be peppery, this might not hit that note. But if you’re in it for a rich, creamy, savoury flavour, go for it!
The drinks are good. I recommend the strawberry coco if you like something sweet, and for espresso, the vanilla, salted caramel or the dirty chai all of them are delicious. The service is not good. The food is alright; it is normal pub food, nothing extraordinary. It is really hard to talk inside, so if you are planning to meet someone to chat, I would recommend outside, and if outside tables are not available in case of winter or other, I wouldn't recommend it because it is really loud.
I saw someone eating fries on the patio and they looked so amazing that I had to get a side order, even though I wasn't hungry at all!
I'm happy I did, because they are amazing!!
Even though I was just ordering a $5 side fry to go, the staff were so nice to me!
The fries, friendly staff, and amazing atmosphere have made me a custom for life!
The nachos were probably the best nachos I have ever had at a restaurant. They were layered perfectly and the cheese dip and guacamole that came with it was unreal. The Caesar was amazing! One of the best!
Delicious food and the staff is amazing
Great spot.

Just learned that this bar has been stockpiling American booze, buying up supplies at local LCBOs, instead of supporting Canadian breweries, wineries and distilleries. I won't be supporting this establishment.
went there for new years really fun
Came in for some dinner, and it was really good! I got mac and cheese, and it was so flavorful and well balanced, as it came with a ceasar salad. My boyfriend and our friend, got wings, and they said they were the best wings they've ever had. Can't wait to come back!
My and friends went for an early NYE celebration. We had a great time. The service was great and the food was delicious. The only thing I would see as a down side is the water is not good, I would recommend the bottle option. They had fault and sparkling options.
I was there to watch a hockey game . The atmosphere was ok and the service was great . Food was not so great . I had wings with a side of French fries . The wings were a little dry and the fries were way too salty . I don't think I'd go back .
