Several vendors with fresh produce that is good, but low rating because of vendor selling tomatoes that are beyond terrible (and caused food poisoning) - DO NOT BUY produce (especially baby.tomatoes) from "farm stand" next to pierogi tent, these are NOT farm grown heirloom tomatoes, they were disgusting,: literally 1/3 of them rotted (all underneath the fresh looking ones on top, so fraudulent seller too), and they tasted either as tasteless as grocery store refrigerated tomatoes, or worse, like putrid waste and caused food poisoning.

Fresh veg and fruit. Lots of vendors with wonderful products. I especially like the gluten-free options

If you want fresh farm products visit Peterborough farmers market every Saturday ????

Love the market and all the variety of fresh produce.
Watch out for Scam vendor, selling wholesale produce while claiming they grow it themselves. Always on look out when you find perfectly similar looking produce in baskets. Its usually imported from China or other places cheap and not self grown.

The ORIGINAL Ptbo Farmer`s market. Amazing local produce. Wonderful, salt-of-the-earth people. Highly recommend.

I go to this market because the vendors get to know the customers, they are low key, personable and great products. I purchase Christmas gifts for my Dad - honey, maple syrup and the specialty jams. Weekly he loves the Empire Cookies and I love the coffe. My two favourite vendors for plants are Westwood Garden and Baily’s Farms & Greenhouses.Borge and Mona from Westwood Garden, are quite knowledgeable gardeners that have been so helpful with fantastic prices for healthy plants that flourish.Marjorie, Earl and Teresa, owners of Bailey’s are also excellent gardeners and so knowledgeable.A summer Saturday morning errand of coffee, chatting about plants and picking up veggies, apples, baked good and other items has been a regular routine for me. I highly recommend this market for the low key and friendly atmosphere. I have also picked up some beautiful pottery for a gift during my stroll around the market.
