We googled best burger places in Peterborough and this was the real deal! We got classic bacon cheese bugers with onion rings and fries.They used quality ingredients from top to bottom. The bun was soft yet sturdy to not fall apart in a drippy mess. The burger patty was charred and flavored just right, and they cooked our bacon to our specifications. The fresh slice of tomato, crisp green lettuce and onion cirls rounded the perfect burger. You could tell the burger was put together with care. The owner was genuine and friendly and we hope he gets the chance to read this. We will be back sir. :)There is probably more on the menu but this is what we will keep coming back.Cons: the parking and seating area was a little less than desired but we prefer take out so it didn't hinder our decision to purchase our meal here.

Really great place to go for a reasonably priced casual meal! We've had lunch and, most recently, breakfast. Great food, good friendly and attentive service, and Vik the owner, obviously takes great pride in sending people home happy and satisfied!

Canada day heading to the festivities,, i decided to try a burger at |Petes since i heard it was supposedly good. Went up to the walk by window.. ordered their smallest burger. The employee said it was the classic. I did not look at the menu,, will never do that again. Not in a hurry my burger was ready in 10 minutes,, The price was $11.30. Worst burger i have ever had.. slimy bun, burger so so, a wilted piece of both lettuce and tomato. I was so disappointed,, had to take it home to fix it up and it was still soggy and definitely not worth the price.

Honestly, these are the best burgers in town! The service is great and the owners are wonderful! This place is inclusive and welcoming. The bad reviews are the psychopaths the city has hired to destroy the reputation of this business because they believe in people making their own medical choices.

I drive the 2 hours often just to enjoy their food & friendly positive environment! These burgers, fries, poutine & all the yummy sides are far better then any restaurant. You can most definitely taste that these burgers are made from real fresh meat!! The staff were all very happy, pleasant, helpful & the owners gave the place a very welcoming vibe!!! You will not be disappointed!!I have read over the bad reviews & unfortunately some people thrive off of negativity, do not support freedom of speech & choice & wish hardships on others if you do not have their same thoughts & views.Please be realistic & see these people are giving a review due to their personal thoughts & views- NOT because of the food. If you love great quality food & a place that will welcome anyone into their restaurant then try it out & make your own judgment or just do not put any energy into this place. Your choice - you do you!!

These burgers are so good! They are made fresh, packed with toppings. I had the Banquet Burger. Bacon is freshly cooked too! I also liked the positive vibe and very clean!

Service was so slow and when burger and dish finally arrived it was half cool. Bun was soggy from burger dripping in grease. Inside of burger was cold and uncooked, exactly what you want if your into Ecoli fun. Staff was rude and chippy when I mentioned they forgot my fries Terrible experience, won't be back.

The energy in this place was terrible and it was present in the food. The Peter pickle burger was cold and the extra bacon was chewy, even though I asked for extra crispy. Fries were soggy :(
