Can accommodate celiac with gluten free options, no cross contamination! Very friendly and helpful!

Beautiful cafe - now if only they had good coffee. At least the flat white is really bad. Burnt coffee and the milk foam had a weird taste, too.

Beautiful location along the river in Peterborough. Lots of patio seating. Sandwiches and baked good are very good. Service is very chaotic leading to long lineups and a bit of a wait for your ordered food.

Had a terrible experience with staff service here today. My partner ordered a canned drink which we received at the register, and I ordered a tea and was told that they would bring it to us. Sat outside for over 20 minutes waiting for the tea despite being only one of two groups there. When I went back inside to ask about our order, I was told by the girl working there that she had a few other drinks to make and would be out with mine shortly. Went back outside to wait and watched a table get sat and served their drinks almost immediately. We waited an additional 20 minutes for our order before getting up a second time to find the doors locked and the staff closing! While we all make mistakes and forgetting about an order can happen, I was shocked that my drink was never served after giving the staff a polite reminder. Overall we waited for 40 minutes for a $7 matcha, which was unacceptable. To their credit, I did receive a refund for the tea when I requested one, but it seemed like too little too late. I feel they should have offered to refund our entire order at the bare minimum to compensate for the carelessness. Staff seemed mildly apologetic and confused that I never received the drink. I don’t think I’ll be giving my business to this place again, especially with so many fantastic coffee shops with very caring staff downtown, and I’ll be advising friends to do the same.

Best cottage in the city. Incredible patio/deck on Little Lake. And all of their food/drinks are wonderful (that which I've tried anyways.)

Food was good, but $$$$. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the river views.

We very disappointed when i was there on the weekend. The server served my coffee in a chipped cup. When i said something to him. He just shrugged it off. This is not the first time this has happened. A chipped mug is not hygienic and can harbour bacteria and goes against health codes. I would hope that they throw out all their chipped mugs and plates

While the setting and the views were beautiful, the food was extremely overrated and overpriced. I paid 40 dollars for a main, side and an iced tea. The main was okay but for over 20 dollars, I’d expect more quantity of food. For my drink, I had an iced tea, which was basically like a coloured water. Overall, would not recommend the food.

Best location and best service. Such a lovely and popular spot on the water. My personal favourite is their maple syrup latte.
