I had my first experience with Soupçon this week and it was delightful! I have only good things to say. The food is delicious, with great vegan options which I appreciate, and the service is wonderfully kind. We will be repeat customers. This place is a gem in Peterborough!

Best soup in Ontario hands down, if you’re in the area. Stop by for a bowl and a sandwich, you will not be disappointed! Don’t forget the beer bread, it goes perfectly with a hot bowl of your choice.

First time trying this place ! Friendly staff , great atmosphere! Fair pricing for such delicious soups well crafted and so full of flavour . The complimentary baguette with every soup is fantastic soft light interior with a crispy textured exterior . I was impressed with the beer bread one of my new favourites ! I will definitely be returning and letting anyone who wants a quality product they can definitely get that at soupcon!

While the soup was good. Beer bread tasted like it was a day old which was disappointing. The service was ok and the cleanliness in this place needs serious help!!!!. I’m surprised food health and safety haven’t checked in. All floors were dirty. Open kitchen nasty. Bathroom was disgusting and safety clearly not a concern as there was an empty box on the floor hallway towards bathroom area that staff didn’t feel it was necessary to take out back for recycling. There were 4 of us and we will not be returning as we all questioned how sanitary any of the pots would be that the soup got cooked in! ?

This Mexican Lentil Soup is the 3rd Best Soup I've Ever Had in My Life behind Pho from Vietnam & Tom Yum from Thailand.

Any food with pineapple always WOWS me. I love how tomatoey this tastes even though I'm not sure if there even is tomato in here or that's actually the chipotle. All I know is the taste of the soup is really great & strong & flavourful taste. The lentils are melt in your mouth & the pineapple tastes really splashy goodness with the soup. It tastes very authentically home made & the Mexican lady in here is cool. Great spot. Also, the Beer Bread was a really great choice. The Beer Bread tastes like a Biscoff Bread. It really does taste like Biscoff but not too strong. It is a crusty bread on the outside & regular tasting slightly hard bread on the inside. Thanks!

I have tried over 30 different soups at this place. Not once have I ever thought “meh”. It does not seem to matter how bizarre the explanation of soup type it is , if anything those ones are many times the best choice. Paired up with their fresh Beer Buns pfffft! This place is maybe one of Peterboroughs most underated best take out lunch stops!
