Amazing and the beer bread is the best I’ve ever had

If I am craving soup or it's a rainy day, I immediately think of Soupcon Bistro. Every soup I have purchased has been delicious and nutritious! The beer bread is my favourite. It is a cash only business so be prepared. I generally order take out and love it! Like they say "go where the locals go" and this little place is special to Downtown Peterborough!

Best soup place in Peterborough. Great for lunch. Known mostly to locals. If you haven't had it, get yourself in there. I guarantee you will enjoy it. Staff friendly. You can't beat this place for lunch. No one does soup like this place. Beer bread is amazing too.

Ross and Vanessa can't make a bad or even mediocre soup to save their life! Things I would think I would never like as a soup, they make it amazing! You'll never be disappointed by the soup, only disappointed you didn't get there fast enough before it was gone! And the beer bread is heaven, literally. This place deserves a Michelin star!

Ross and Vanessa can't make a bad or even mediocre soup to save their life! Things I would think I would never like as a soup, they make it amazing! You'll never be disappointed by the soup, only disappointed you didn't get there fast enough before it was gone! And the beer bread is heaven, literally. This place deserves a Michelin star!

Enjoyable lunch. Started with a welcome greeting and smile from staff. From ordering the food to being presented with the hearty soup and beer bread, it made our winter day. The home made chicken sausage veggie and spinach soups were awesome!!! We will return to try the other soups.

Stopped by during a road trip after reading the reviews, and we were not disappointed! Three of us tried three different soups, and they were all delicious, and the beer bread was also sooo good. If I lived in the area, I'd be eating here every day, as it appears many locals do.Vegetarian options: Two vegan options on the menu today, and I assume every day.
