We came here for lunch as it was the most popular recommendation for a good restaurant in Peterborough. My wife and I had the St. Veronus Club. It was possibly the best club sandwich I've had. Portions were hefty, roast turkey was tender and juicy, the bread was crispy, and the salad was fresh. Service was stellar, friendly and proactive, making sure we had lots of water. Our server even read our minds and brought a takeout container for my wife without us asking. Excellent experience all around.

I had an excellent experience here. I shared the Belgium frites with Joppiesaus as an appetizer and they were fabulous. A small size was still plenty; we didn’t end up finishing them. For my main, I had the Summer Squash Salad and it was absolutely the best salad I have ever had. So delicious. And I was famished when we arrived and I was really happy with the serving size and how filling it was. The service was also friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend eating here!

Outstanding, great selections of Belgian beers and we had the steak frites, cooked perfectly. Literally everything a human needs

Came here last month when I was stopping in Peterborough overnight after a long day of travel. Had this place recommended to me so I took the trip downtown to try it out. I don't regret it!

I came in quite late due to my travel, so the place was quite empty, but the staff was extremely friendly and didn't cut any corners despite this. My server was very kind and walked me through the menu and helped me pick out an appetizer and meal.

The food was excellent. I loved every bite, and the portions are extremely generous. The frites here are also to die for, and I felt so bad that I wasn't able to finish them all! Felt like a sin to waste a single morsel of food here.

Absolutely come here if you're in town! It's worth the trip downtown to come here.

Whenever I come to Peterborough I make sure that I visit this restaurant at least twice. I have been going there for at least 20 years. Outstanding food. An awesome Belgian beer selection. If only it could be cloned and located where I live!!

Great tasting food, huge portions, fun and warm atmosphere. Centrally located downtown. First time here, but we will be back!
