We came here for lunch as it was the most popular recommendation for a good restaurant in Peterborough. My wife and I had the St. Veronus Club. It was possibly the best club sandwich I've had. Portions were hefty, roast turkey was tender and juicy, the bread was crispy, and the salad was fresh. Service was stellar, friendly and proactive, making sure we had lots of water. I had an excellent experience here. I shared the Belgium frites with Joppiesaus as an appetizer and they were fabulous. A small size was still plenty; we didn’t end up finishing them. For my main, I had the Summer Squash Salad and it was absolutely the best salad I have ever had. So delicious. And I was famished when we arrived and I was really happy with the serving size and how filling it was. The service was also friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend eating here!
Came here last month when I was stopping in Peterborough overnight after a long day of travel. Had this place recommended to me so I took the trip downtown to try it out. I don't regret it!
