Thai Express Restaurant Peterborough

Green curry is not the same. The sauce lacks the familiar flavour and was sweet. Vegetables were sparse and rice overcooked. Tried calling but whoever answered was defensive and did not seem to listen. This had been something my daughter and I get fairly consistently. New owners, new standards, lost a few customers. This incidentally is my first bad review. I always try to resolve without a negative review.

Went to Thai express today got the regular general Thai chicken. I normally get it, but this is new owners. It was like eating cardboard. It was awful very hard very overcooked. They barely warmed it up in the pan, but they must’ve had burnt oil in the pan, everything tastes like burnt oil.. Absolutely terrible I’m about to go up and ask for my money back. I have never had to ask for my money back over me in my life.. They definitely have learning to do

I just purchased my first order since the new ownership took place. Very friendly service and easy to understand. The food is amazing and so many choices! I got the chicken stir fry with cashew.

Love Thai Express for a quick vegetarian Pad Thai meal during errands. Delicious & great value. I hope they reopen soon! 🍜

I’ve ate at many many Thai Express places. The food here is poorly cooked and staff has an attitude. I do not recommend this Thai Express.

my girlfriend and I ordered a shrimp pad thai and we were given it on a paper plate and was a mess and looked sloppy, like that really shitty street food spot near you uncles place in scarborough, service was poor when i asked to put it in a box they said they couldn’t then i showed them how sloppy it looked, as they did i heard murmurs in a different language so not sure what they were talking about. anyways there was like 5 pieces of shrimp too like huh? $17 for 5 pieces and a slop of noodles…

I found this in my food . They were giving me a hard time even getting a refund, never mind actually compensating for their error. Not a shed of guilt or anything expressed, no apology. After they took a closer look at it they disposed of it and said that it was just a piece of broccoli. Luckily I was able to capture photos of it first.
