We had the classic burger, the French onion burger and a side of fries. The French onion burger was good but the crispy onions weren't crispy at all. The flavour was good but the portion sizes felt very small we left still feeling hungry.

Yesterday I received a call from Emily at The Dirty Burger. She apologized for the delay getting back to me and also for what I went through. They will be reviewing what happened and try to determine the source. She was very apologetic and sorry for my experience. I wanted to update this review in light of her call and have changed it from 1 star to 3 stars.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I was there for dinner with a friend on Monday Sept 29th. I had the fish burger and fries. Approximately 3 hours later I had unmistakeable food poisoning with all the associated nasty stuff. My friend had a different meal but shared a few of my fries and he had a much milder version .. just upset stomach. I tried sending an email to the restaurant using the address on their website but it bounced back. I called the same night and left a message. I assumed they'd want to know this and what I had ordered so they could trace the problem. I've had no response at all 2 days later. Completely unprofessional and disappointing.
On a brighter note our server was very good, friendly.

Had the chicken burger and dirty fries - absolutely everything was wonderful. The chipotle sauce was made in house, chicken was perfectly crispy!

Burgers here are so good! One of my go-to burger spots in downtown Peterborough. Staff was friendly, place was clean, food was served way before expected time (10mins was what they said but food was served in like 5mins). They even gave me a nice complimentary dirty spice seasoning!!! I’ll try this later :))) thank you Dirty Burger, ya’ll are the best!

We just happened to be in town for a meet up. My hubby and I were feeling a lil hungry. The Dirty Burger is definitely a gem. Great service and nice atmosphere. The food is phenomenal. Thanks for having us. Cheers

Im hoping it was just an off day for the cooks in the back because according to the reviews, its a great place to chill and eat! My partner ordered a burger with a bunch of fixings, the burger came out plain. The waitress was very sweet and accommodating, she did bring out all the fixings in little individual cups but my partner wasn't really expecting to go in there amd build his own plate 😅 my food was mid, i only ate about 1/4 of the plate. Worth the buttload of money went spent? Not entirely sure about that one.

The location was good with lots of parking. The place was clean. Service was ok. The burger was so greasy as they butter the outside bun. It tasted good but it was a double patty was smashed and really was so small. The fries were good. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the music was so loud it was hard to talk. So expensive!!!
