The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Peterborough

Went for my S-I-L 's 91st Birthday. Salmon and the Prime rib were done to perfection. Waiter was excellent (Cameron was his name)

The vegetarian shepherds pie was very small and minimal ingredients for the price ($24). The twice baked potato did not seem very fresh. Your excellent server (Olivia) sure made up for the short comings of my wife's meal

One meal hot and fresh. Other one had been sitting and was cold. Didn't have time for a long dinner and bother mentioning it to the server so my husband just ate it. Potatoes were barely warm. Steak slightly warmer. My food was super hot which was great. But I guess the timing of the dishes was off. And sending his back then mine would be cold. So no point complaining.

Roast Beef was very disappointing considering it is why we went to The Keg. Beef was very dry and over cooked. ....veggies were boring and I like crunchy but this was like they were never even heated except the beets were over done. Very disappointing experience tonight and I usually recommend this restaurant.

The food was exceptionally good; vegetables didn't have the “grill fuel” taste they sometimes have. The server Caleb went out of his way to make the dining experience exceptional

If I could give more Stars I would! We are regulars at this location and are always thrilled with our visit, , however this weekend (Saturday 3pm) we were a party of 13 people celebrating two family birthdays. As always, each and ever single meal was cooked exactly as ordered, but, I had to leave a review on the service. The service we received from our two servers was beyond exceptional. They went above and beyond with their attentiveness and friendliness, and by doing so made our night a memorable one. I hope these two are given the recognition they deserve! (I wish I could remember their names). Thank you SO much, we will be back!!

Got a simple Top Sirloin with a loaded baked potato. No cheese on the potato. Okay, no worries. They bring me shredded cheese. Paying 55+ for steak you would think they would re do my baked potato. The service lacked. Felt like they weren't as well trained.

We took my father-in law there for his birthday and they did not disappoint! The service was fantastic, she even did her best to ensure our area was not too loud with the music. Everyone had such a good time and the Billy Miner Pie was a huge hit! Would return to this Keg for sure!
