The Ruby Chocolate Bar was Great. The Mango Papaya was Great. But they cost way too much - $13 for both of these two. Too much guys. I love the store as it is a local Bulk Barn but you guys have to lower down the price.

The family that runs this place are so lovely. So many great finds here and an incredible selection of bulk foods and spices and teas! I was also so happy to recently discover that they carry some bulk household cleaners and soaps to refill. Such a gem!

Store has received a facelift. Very bright and seems more roomy. Of course as neat as a pin, and the staff always friendly and helpful. This shop has gone from one caring family to another. Have to love small family owned businesses

I have so much love for The Main Ingredient. They’re a Peterborough gem. They have an amazing selection of spices - lots of things that can be hard to find. Amazing coffee and tea selection (they stock PTBOs local coffee biz, Rapids End). They curate some great kitchenware items and beeswax candles too. Everyone that works here is the best!
The owners and staff of The Main Ingredient are truly the best. They are helpful and welcoming and their selection seems to grow each week. I love the focus on local ingredients and products as well. So glad we have them in the community!

I sent someone in for ingredients. A very simple short list. The grossly over charged me! Apparently 1/3lb of cardamom is 25.00. I called in to see if this was a mistake as cardamom should not be 85.00/lb. Noones called me back yet. I'm not impressed paying 75.00 for a small bag of spices!!!

Great store. Good service by friendly and helpful staff. Wide variety of goods given the small space of the store. Some items seem to be over-priced. No required masking to protect staff and customers. Overall, a good place to shop.
