My wife and I have always loved the sushi menu and fusion rolls, but the last time we ordered we noticed the salmon in the rolls seemed to be minced or mashed or something that did not represent previous orders. I get that restaurants look for ways to save money, but the rolls were large and thin and fell apart and the minced filling or whatever was really unappealing...sad, but we'll try some place different next time.

We really enjoyed it here. We went out as a family group of 6. Music wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear the people you were with. It gave an atmosphere of really enjoying each other's company without phones. Everyone respected the level of volume within the restaurant that the atmosphere asks for. Service was quick and food was yummy and very satisfying. Portion sizes of the sushi were good. We will certainly be visiting here again and trying many more items for the menu.

My husband and I absolutely LOVE this place! We’ve been sushi lovers for a long time and have tried every restaurant around, and this has been our favourite consistently. Also, I never understood the ramen hype some of my friends have, but obviously I had never tried real, good ramen! We ordered the Sapporo miso ramen to try and OMG. We crave it all the time now and have been back several times to get our fix! Now I understand the hype about ramen when you find a good place! My husband loves the spicy Sapporo ramen the best. Also, the service and vibe are soo welcoming and wonderful.

We normally love Tora, but our take out tonight wasn’t as good as previous visits. The rolls seem to have gotten larger, can’t be eaten in one bite and just fall apart. They were also drier and the fish didn’t seem as fresh as normal. Hoping it was just an off night!
Service has always been great, and we’ve enjoyed our experience when we dine in.

Fresh and THICK cut sashimi! Our favorites are Sashimi appetizers, Torched salmon, High Castle rolls and Mountain rolls. Always winners at a very reasonable price. We appreciate the private booths and even like the large glass tea mug with the big handle. Someone is thinking right at Tora Sushi.

Love Tora. Great ramen, great sushi. Please please please hire more staff. It’s clear one employee is not enough. There’s not enough hands to clear tables. People line up at the cash to pay their bills because they’ve been waiting for too long. We were seated for 20 minutes before we got a menu.

I’ve been going to tora for years. I absolutely LOVE the food and people. The Raman is so rush, and sushi is so good, and the staff are so sweet. They even remember you when you come in, what you like and ask how you are doing. Only issue is staffing numbers. Past few times I’ve been here the tables are all dirty, and there’s one poor server trying their best. PLEASE hire more staff, seeing the stress they go through is incredibly unfair, and generates insane wait times even to just get a drink or order. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place. 10/10. Absolutely nothing wrong with Tora other than the amount of staff needed.
