I usually order from Wendy’s whenever I’m out, but this experience at the Lansdowne Street location in Peterborough on January 7th, 2026 was completely unacceptable. I ordered through my girlfriend’s Uber Eats account, and when the first driver arrived, staff told them that my order had already been picked up by someone else — supposedly 30 minutes earlier. This means the order was handed out without proper verification to an unauthorized person.
When the driver tried to explain the situation and get assistance, the store did not communicate properly and instead asked them to move away from the drive-thru rather than resolving the issue. It took four drivers attempting pickup before the fifth driver finally received the order and delivered it to me.
On top of that, I did not receive a receipt when I finally got the order.
This level of irresponsibility is extremely concerning. If delivery orders are being accepted and then given to the wrong person, it raises serious questions about how orders are handled at this location. I’m also left wondering if there could be a scam involved, though it seems more likely to be a system and communication failure. Very unprofessional and disappointing — especially since I usually trust Wendy’s for reliable service.

The cups and lids don’t even fit properly half the time. Ended up spilling my drink everywhere and workers getting annoyed having to clean up the spill. Food is good value though and has lots of good deals both in restaurant and on the app.

I just went through the drive-thru 10 minutes ago (Dec 5, 2025), ordered the taco salad. It's a 5-minute drive to my house and when I opened the salad container the smell was bad and many of the leaves were dark and slimy. I can't believe they looked at it, put it in a bag and charged me for it

I walk in there was having a bad day. I just lost my cat to a Coyote my phone had been hacked and my apartment had bed bugs and a Customer in front of me offered me ahead of the line. I'm paid for my meal. What a gentleman He made my day for that good gesture. And said to me, sometime do that for another person. What a fabulous attitude, At The Peterborough Wendy's.

This restaurant is bullshit . This is the worst wendys I have ever been to everytime my beef burgers are ice cold bun is hard cracking and has no flavour . My burger was grey I am afraid to eat anymore of my food because it has definitely reached the danger zone being room temperature for so long . May I add this was at 10:45 lunch menu starts at 10/10:30 this is extremely unexpected and I will be calling the health board over this constant cause of neglect

I had a very good experience there yesterday. Said the person who took my order on the drive true was very kind and helped me to pick the best offer for the purchase I was doing. Great service. Food was okay.

Got 2 for $ 4 wraps 2 with bacon and with sausage and also 4 sausage patties. All six of the sausage were over cooked too the point of charcoal and they were dried out. We used the drive thru as we were in a hurry to get to a appointment out of town.
