Yesterday, November 29, 2025 the six of us in our family ate at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised! Our server, Mary, was fantastic and our meal was very good.

We had a reservation for 12:15 pm and arrived 5 minutes early. We were shown to our table and sat there for 15 minutes before getting a menu. Our order was taken at 12:45 when we got our drinks. 1:15 we finally got our food but had no cutlery. 1:40 we finally went to the cash to pay, even though we did not have our bill yet. Finally left the restaurant about 8 minutes later and just barely got to the theatre for our two o’clock show.

While the waiter was very attentive and polite, the food was mediocre for the price.
My soup was mostly broth - with very little contents in it.
The point-of-sale machine had an 18% tip, to start. No - just not going to happen. I'm sick and tired of these suggestive tips, that are based the total, including tax. The old rule of thumb still applies - tip on the pre-tax total.
