From the moment we walked in, Sat, Mar 1st around 2:30 we were overlooked. Place was full of kids running around, extremely noisy! Two tables came in after us, and were waited on first. Needless to say, our trip to specifically try Black Gold Brewery was a failure, and we left without being served, approximately 20 minutes! 4 adults, looking to enjoy lunch and a couple of beverages, didn’t get either! Even tried the retail store to take home some beers, but no one working in there either! Such a shame!

My dad and I each tried a flight of beers. Beers are better than Refined Fool. Which they had a stout on tap and not just in a can. Friendly service, but food was subpar. Chicken tenders were good, but fries were meh. Dad had Octoberfest sausage and was disappointed with taste of bun and portion size.

First time visiting Black Gold, after hearing good things about this Petrolia Brewery. I enjoyed the design and layout of this brewery, felt like a good place to come with your friends or having an event here. It's quite spacious and open.
The staff were friendly and gave good service. My friend and I came here on my birthday for some beers, and the brewery certainly does have a good sized list of beers and other drinks.
I ordered the blonde beer and the pale ale. They were good, but not memorable, fitting for Petrolia standards. Reasonably priced for 20oz of beer.
There seemed to be a good selection of snacks, and when you sit down, you get a little bucket of popcorn that was good. There's a few TVs playing for some background noise.
Definitely worth trying this establishment out once.

Never provide these guys with a credit card. They lost my credit card that was kept for a tab. Lost it and when I got upset the owner call ME an A$$HOLE. Made me wait at the bar for 10 mins while they passed around the box of cards not telling me anything until I got upset. Took me in the back where the owner proceed to call me names and blame me. It should be zero stars but it won't let me
