I was on the road and hungry, so I stopped in for a bite. I had the turkey club wrap and beef barley soup, and it did the job. Simple and filling. I'll come back and try the shawarma. The staff is very nice, but there are some improvements that could be made.

No thank you!

A transient/tourist may find this hard to find established local so called "place to stop" is a HUGE MISCONCEPTION!!!! At best, it is a POORLY managed bar and serves dire alcohol absorbing fried stuff!!! The staff is AWESOME but managed and limited to the constraints of "greedy and overbearing" wannabe business woman. Ignore the poor maintenance and scares of ignorant safety decisions, you will recieve the best from staff. Eat at you own risk!!! Beer is cold. Far better options are available in a rich oil heritage, wholesome and worthwhile stop for any hungry/thirsty travellers. Honestly, Petrolia ROCKS but please don't judge it because of Helens Hidaway. Just like a bad road, avoid the potholes, because this is a deep and crappy one. Trust me, I live here!!! Ptown is a worthwhile destination, just avoid the potholes!!!! Enjoy Ptown and all it has to offer. Just enjoy everything and ignore the Potholes!!! ?

Food is exceptional , and all the staff are very polite and cheerful. Theres a few beautiful waitresses as well as the owner , Helen, is also beautiful and always very nice and curteous. Makes ya feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. They provide a great atmosphere and truly pleasant dining experience.

The food was terrible! $hi++y, if I'm allowed to say that here. I'm sure food thrown found in a dumpster would've been better than the sandwich I was served. The drink was undrinkable as I don't think they clean their lines out regularly, if at all. Found the staff to be ok other than the owner's verbal abuse overheard. The place didn't look the cleanliest but I'm sure the tweakers there didn't seem to mind. If you're coming into town for the theatre or passing through and want something to eat or drink, dont waste your time here.

Arrived to the restaurant only to walk in a see no one around. We then went over to a bar (Haywoods) that was attached and told we could choose where we would like to sit. The person that seemed to be the only person working was not wearing a mask. They were not following covid guidelines or protocol and did not ask for our vaccine proof. The food was good, nothing outstanding but tasty nonetheless. The waitress was polite and very attentive.
