Definitely better options in Durham for AYCE. The rolls are massive but not in a good way. The majority of my rolls broke because they were so big and just makes for a bad eating experience. The ones that didn't break, were basically 2 bite which is a huge mistake for this type of food. The grilled options weren't much better. The chicken had to be thigh meat or just low quality, not matching the dinner $ expectations. The beef apps were the best thing I ate here.
For $100 for 2 ppl dinner, very underwhelming, again you can get better in Durham. We had to pay an extra because we didn't eat everything we ordered. I'm okay with that because I don't believe in wasting food, but at the same rate, the food wasn't that good and I won't be going back.

I typically order 1298 sushi whenever I’m having a craving and they have never disappointed. Great spot with amazing bogo prices on ubereats you can’t really go wrong!

Used to come here pretty regularly for their ayce lunch but now that I’m always busy throughout the day, I opt for their salmon lover combo for takeout. Their fish has always been good quality and for 10 salmon nigiri + spicy salmon (with miso soup and salad) costing only $19+tax, it’s definitely bang for your buck!
My only critique is for ayce the rolls and sushi are pretty rice heavy and you get full pretty quick off of just rice.
