1 star out of 5. Very disappointed. I went on a long walk in the hot weather today, and I wanted to cool off in the mall with an iced cold soft drink. Strike one: their large drink was smaller than I expected, the size of a medium you’d see at other restaurants. Strike two: the drink I got was warm. Strike three: when I asked for ice, they said there’s no ice. They didn’t say “we temporarily have no ice”. Just simply “we don’t have ice”. I’m quite disappointed.

I decided to pick up lunch at A&W Pickering Town Centre yesterday. My grandson is a picky eater so I thought I could get him something he would enjoy, he is a burger / nugget kid. My order took a while to fill when it finally arrived I asked the woman for mustard, she walked into the back. After waiting a while I asked the young lady up front for the mustard. When she opened the door to the back the original woman I had asked was prepping food. They both spoke, the woman then comes out looks at me and said ‘mustard 30 cents’. Why not tell me that the first time I asked for mustard, instead of walking away and ignoring me leaving me to wait with a child who was hungry for something you never planned to give me. I will not return to A&W any location.

Placed an Uber order for pickup and waited 20 mins for it. Ordering ahead of time doesn't matter, you still end up waiting. One girl working the front and one guy in the back, under staffed or what?
Worst A&W experience ever The fries and onion rings have a bitter after taste and overslated. Seems the deep fry oil has not been changed for ages. The drinks are not cold enough. No ice machine.. beacon missed from our sandwiches. A very bad service & attitude. Fair enough to call heath canada and HO for inspection. Definitely not recommend. Careless owner that deserves being sued for health and safety compliance
