Called Jawed for a platter of food for ten. He did selection for us and included his own eggplant dish and special shawarma sauce. We and our guests were truly amazed and the uniqueness, the freshness and taste. Amazing stuff.

The area this place is situated in is like a Halo free for all match for shawarma shops. Despite this place not having the flashy layouts and social media marketing to entice people to come in for food, they are the apex of shawarma plates. I've known this shop for a long time, and it's the only one where even if I refrigerate the rice and meat, I can still eat it cold and enjoy. I'm really hoping they can step up their marketing and social media efforts to expand into other locations. Don't skip on this hidden gem.

I ordered a chicken platter and was extremely disappointed. The food was completely flavorless and tasteless. Instead of the usual juicy, sliced shawarma-style chicken, they served small, shredded chicken that looked more like cat food than something you’d expect at a shawarma place. It was the first time I’ve seen shredded chicken used like this in a platter, and honestly, it was not appealing at all. Definitely not coming back.

Ordered two shawarma wraps and the ingredients tasted sour and appeared to have gone bad. I'm not sure if it was the chicken or the veggies. The chicken did not look like it was freshly carved, it was a very fine size, probably leftover scraps.
Updated: I've been coming here for years but raising my review to 5 stars. I think it's now one of the best Shawarma places in Pickering for takeout. The food quality has definitely improved from the early years, and the portion sizes are now the biggest they've ever been. The Chicken Shawarma Plate - extremely generous amounts of chicken, rice, hummus, salad and sauce. This past year, the containers are always overfilled. Great tasting, fast, friendly, and clean.

Horrible experience here, burnt and bitter garbage gave me food poisoning. I’ve hired a lawyer and will be contacting city health authorities. Stay away from this trashy place 🤮
