Well alittle shocked. I always go to but n ben on ellesmere as i never have saturdays off to travel to pickering. Well went there finally and was greeted by a young girl that was super friendly and helpful. Then an old bird came out, was grumpy, short and her responses were rude and not appropriate for front line service. If she doesn't want to work Saturdays stay home your serving food, a young person could do a better job and use the cash. I will be using ellesmere from...
Visited the bakery yesterday and the lady behind the counter (who was not permanently from the Pickering location) was very friendly and helpful. The melton mowbray pies and steak & onion pies were really tasty.
Try to get to the But 'N' Ben Scottish Bakery as often as possible there baked goods are to die for as well as bread steak pies meat pies,sausages bacon everything Scottish you can think of they have.
