Very sad experience. The ice cream staff was
gone for the evening. The Mr. Sub guy had to serve us. Poor guy had no idea where anything was. Thankfully we just wanted cones. But wait, where do they hide the cones? No idea. But we’re chill. A cup won’t hurt us. Oh wait - $15 bucks for 2 sad scoops…in cups we settled for? I know what you’re thinking…it must have been real good ice cream. Sigh. Nope. Wife’s didn’t taste like much. Mine tasted like too much…time in the cooler. Never again.
Note was deleted due to careless packaging. It does not deserve its money at all.
Ordered the key lime pie. It was stale. And tasted rotten, as if it had been made a week or so ago. No fresh. Will not order from here again.
I ordered 2 slices of cake, each from a different type of cake. The cake was so stale that it was quite literally crunchy. I've never eaten cake with the texture of an overcooked cookie before. It was so stale that I couldn't even pick it up with my fork because piercing it would just make it crumble into small pieces like a crouton. Charging $10 for a piece of stale cake is ridiculous, and judging by the other reviews, it doesn't seem like this is a one time problem. Seriously, you can get cheaper and better quality cake literally anywhere; those low quality dollar store prepackaged cake snacks are better than what you'd get here. Save your money and get cake from somewhere else
Overpriced, stale cake.Find somewhere else to go, anywhere.

Your place do not dip cookies right or crumble. Ordered the Oreo dip and got Carmel, the kit kat pieces were not stuck on the dip. The cake is frozen for the raspberry moose and the writing is sloppy. The company sucks

AVOID AT ALL COST!I cannot stress enough how abysmal my experience was with Cakes n Shakes at 1010 Brock Rd in Pickering. From the moment I made a phone call, I was subjected to a nightmare of incompetence and hostility that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.First off, let's talk about their customer service. It was like entering a war zone where the staff were the enemy combatants. I was transferred through not one, not two, but three different employees, each with an attitude so toxic it could kill houseplants. It was as if they were competing in the Hostility Olympics, and they were dead set on winning gold. Now, onto my simple question about their donuts. You'd think asking about a pastry wouldn't be cause for World War III, but apparently, it was. Not one of the three stooges could manage to answer my question without rolling their eyes so hard I could practically hear them over the phone. And don't even get me started on their inability to maintain composure. It's like they were allergic to professionalism and civility.
They don’t know the menu . Says gluten-free but they don’t have anything gluten-free
I went to this business once and I will not be returning. My experience was not pleasant due to bad customer service and sub par ice cream at a premium price.I looked at the menu and ordered some ice cream. After paying I reviewed my receipt and noticed I was charged a different fee to have my ice cream dipped.I asked the attendant what's the difference between what I got and what I thought i was going to get. She simply looks at me and doesn't say a word and then called for what i think is her supervisor. They then proceed to talk between themselves in front of me in a foreign language. After a minute or so I asked the supervisor if she would like to hear from me what my question is. She says "what is it?". I asked my question and she replies dismissively, "I don't know, we are a franchise and there is nothing we can do".I don't know if it was a language barrier but it seemed to me that they aren't prepared. Additionally the ice cream dip was watery. Not worth the addition $1.25. plus they had no napkins. I had to hold my $6 ice cream cone with a brown paper towel.I do not recommend it.
Everything is frozen, like a brick. It needs a day to unfreeze. Don’t recommend it. I was told on the phone to put it in the microwave as that is what they do in store. Gross.

Pistachio ice was delicious and my kids enjoyed the bubble gum ice. Friendly service.
This place has not found its legs yet. Inconsistent and disappointing. Tried the donuts and they were frozen in the middle. $24 is excessive for 10 small frozen donuts. They also advertise items they do not offer. Milkshake was ok. Razzles super disappointing. The man who appears to own or run the Mr sub and cakes n shakes speaks so poorly to his female colleagues it’s hard to watch or listen to. We won’t be back. Gave them 3 strikes
Got coupons in the mail so we figured we would try out this new place. I ordered a dozen "regular" donuts for $10 which I think is ridiculous. These regular sized donuts are 2" in diameter! That's it! The regular price for 12 of these is $24, absolutely not worth it! The donuts are dipped and topped right in front of you, and it's a hot mess when you open up the box. The donuts are stale. Worse than grocery store stale. The toppings honestly didn't even taste that great. I got an Oreo dipped with Oreo crumbled on top, Salted Caramel dipped with Sprinkles on top, and what I think is Milk Chocolate with crushed Smarties on top (this is not what I had asked for, but he made a mistake. I can forgive that). I took a look at the prices and everything is outrageously expensive. $89+tax for a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake? Please tell me that is not a normal price people would pay for such a small cheesecake. We will definitely not be going back, not even to try something different with one of the other coupons. Save your money and get fresh, huge, and significantly cheaper donuts at Port Union Bakery. Worth the short drive...
Not sure what a Razzle is supposed to be but this is not what I expected. This was supposed to be skor and caramel. It is what I think is ice cream blended with milk and crushed candy on top. There's also pretzels?? I've never thrown out an ice cream treat after two bites.
Delicious flavours . Got 2 milk shakes and a ice cream . Refreshing . Served from bhavesh with good customer services
