Loved it for weekday date night. Quiet calming ambience. We ordered the sweet corn, baja tacos and Birria tacos. Everything was amazing. The service was top notch with the owner himself checking in with us. The drinks menu is superb too. We were too full for desserts but I'm sure they must be delicious too. We will be back soon!

Went for dinner with a friend, service was definitely not up to par. We got sat by the host and did not have a server greet us at all. After about 15 minutes, a gentleman came put water on the table, then walked away and didn’t say anything other than “here is some water”. Another 10 minutes passed and he took our drink order, however we were also ready to order but walked away after taking the drink order. Comes back with drinks a few minutes later and finally asks, comes back 15 minutes later to ask us to repeat the order and then finally he brought it out 10 minutes later. As great as the food is, people genuinely appreciate service and we had zero of that tonight. No matter how good the food is, if you treat your guests who are supporting your establishment like they don’t exist, you never win. Very disappointed in the lack of hospitality from Chuuk.

I don't normally leave reviews, but my experience today was so exceptional, it would have been wrong not too. The menus were tastefully put together, the quality of ingredients and service were top notch. I'll be coming back here everytime I'm in the area.

We are Pickering locals and we love it here. Good vibe, great tequila menu, food is unique, interesting, and tasty. Prices are on the high side, but so is everywhere else it seems.

My husband enjoyed a date night at Chuuk for the first time this evening. We sat at the bar and were served by Tyerra. We loved the light and airy feeling of the space. Even though we were seated at the bar it still felt intimate and were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner.Tyerra gave some excellent recommendations for cocktails, and great conversation. I was blown away by the guacamole and street corn, we didn’t even need extra chips thanks to the generous portion. My husband loved the Birria and Fish tacos!10/10! Will be back for more. Had a wonderful business lunch today! The atmosphere was warm and unique. Food was spectacular and full of flavour! Definitely get the guacamole to start! And the server was amazing and very accommodating! Enjoyed every moment so happy i chose this spot for a wonderful lunch meeting can’t wait to return again soon!
Chuuk is arguably the best restaurant in all of Durham. In fact I’d say all of the gta. Service is always unmatched. Best spot for girls night out and date nights. Never
