Charminar Indian Cuisine Express | Pickering

I ordered a small tray of Goat Biryani and Paneer Biryani on March 2nd, Sunday, at 12:30pm for $85 from Charminar Pickering, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Upon receiving the food, I noticed that there were only seven small pieces of meat, and the rice was extremely hard and undercooked. After my child ate some of the food, they became sick and vomited, forcing me to throw away the entire portion of rice.

I called the store immediately to express my concerns and was told by an employee named Anchal that I would receive a call back later that evening. However, despite waiting until the following Monday evening, I never received any follow-up. When I called back on March 3rd around 6:30 PM, the call was abruptly disconnected. I tried again, but Anchal claimed they were about to call me back, only to disconnect the line a minute later.

On my third attempt, I encountered rude behavior from Anchal, who shouted at me, calling me a "bad customer," and then told me that they wouldn’t offer any resolution. She even said, "Do whatever you want," which was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.

This experience has been extremely disappointing, especially as my child became sick after eating the food. I will be reporting this to the health authorities because I believe the food was improperly prepared. I strongly advise caution when ordering from Charminar Pickering, as the food quality and customer service were both subpar.

First told it would take 40mins to make dosas (really not sure why). Then after placing the order got a call back saying they don't do dosas today? But it's on their menu and can even be ordered through their online service so I dont understand.
First time ordering and was hoping to like this place because it's local, but I won't waste my time again

I ordered the Hydrabaadi biyaani and butter chicken to go. The biryani is very good. I liked it a lot. The butter chicken tasted like it was made with like a can of campbellls tomato soup. It was way too tomato flavoured, it wasn’t balanced, it wasn’t creamy enough, there wasn’t enough chicken in it for the price. So, I would recommend the biryani, but not the butter chicken. Also they were supposed to give me a desert according to the webpage and that just never happened.

I ordered boneless mutton biryani and all the peaces are full of fat and even biryani rice flavour is not good.

When this place first opened the food was good. Now what you will find is sauce with a couple small pieces of meat. I’m embarrassed to admit I ate here after seeing the bathroom, after that my family got sick. The bathroom must be a clear indication of how unsanitary the back kitchen is… I do not recommend.

It's a little deceiving. The Indian food here is very south India oriented. I am sure the south Indian food here is phenomenal however, the Punjabi food is very south Indian flavored and it's not really the best pairing. I do not recommend it for the Punjabi food here.

This place has to shut down, extremely bad food service too bad server appetizers and main course all together… by the time you finish appetizers all other food is cold… too oily dosa with ZERO taste. I want to compliant to food ministry about this place… totally waste age of money

Today we had such a bad experience with this restaurants they are so cheap. We ordered chicken carry etc, unfortunately there were bearly any chicken meat just full of carry. Very bad experience we will never go again 😔.

Ordered for pickup on uber and time was changed automatically and went in to request if they can give it earlier and they just say will be ready as shown on uber and it is ready before the time and food wasn't hot. They just increase preparation time and make us think it takes more than 1hr to prepare.

Great restaurant in the Brock Road and Pickering area . Favorites are the Chicken 65 Dry and Chicken Biryani are must try

We order dinner from them and the food was terrible. The naan was so hard it felt like we were eating piece of wood and the daal was so salty and it was not fresh at all. It was 3 or 4 days old daal because I found this in my daal and it looked it was not fresh at all. If you are charging so much for food you should at least give good quality food to your customers.

Very good experience!! And very good service and good quality. Sure going to visit again!!
