City South Pizza, Pickering

We called to order a few Indian style vegetarian pizzas. They confirmed that we wanted Indian style (chilli, dhaniya, ginger). We arrived a few minutes early to pick up and once we got home, we noticed that all the pizzas we ordered were not Indian style at all. We called back, and were told that yes, they had ran out of those ingredients. However, at no point leading up to our call were we advised that they no longer had the ingredients to satisfy the customer’s order.

Mistakes happen, and that’s totally understandable. However, once they were made aware of the situation and that the customer was not satisfied with their product, there was no effort to rectify, nor were they initially forthcoming about the lack of ingredients. This did not allow us to make a fully informed decision or order.

This experience was unfortunate and disappointing. We were very loyal customers, however we do not anticipate going back.

We ordered 3 large pizzas for my family who was visiting from out of province. We were excited to have them try City South, especially the Indian style pizzas. When ordering, we specifically asked for them all to be Indian Style and the employee confirmed this. We picked them up and when we got home, we noticed that there was no dhania, ginger or chillis at all. We called to inquire and was told that they had ran out of those ingredients. This is understandable but we should have at least been told this when ordering or picking up. It doesn’t seem like they care about their product. Moving forward, we won’t be going here.

Order a large pepperoni & onion pizza and got one pepperoni per pizza slice

Terrible. They never answer and when they do if you ask to hold on or wait a second they hang up.

I recently had a very disappointing experience here.
I placed a large order at 11:00 AM for pick-up at 1:00 PM, but the order was delayed by an hour. To avoid this issues, I had called the day before to confirm that the restaurant could handle a large order, and I was assured that it would not be a problem. However, when I arrived, I found that there was only one employee handling all the orders, which led to significant delays and made the process very stressful for him. While I sympathize with the employee, this clearly points to poor management.

When I finally received the food, it was not only cold but also mediocre in quality. Additionally, several items were missing, including our drinks and a cheese garlic bread. I also ordered mild wings, but I was informed that the restaurant didn’t have mild sauce available. On top of all this, I was charged extra for a medium family combo, despite confirming multiple times that there would be no additional charge when selecting a specialty pizza.

Given the overall poor service, delays, and additional charges, I will not be returning to this place.

Horrible service. The guys on Friday night took the order on phone and when we went to pick it up. He could not find the order in the list of scribblings he had and casually says they had many orders. Did not even apologize and took another 20 minutes to make it again. The tandoori chicken pizza was ok and lacked flavors.

Absolutely dissatisfied!
I am a regular customer and whenever I order through uber, I order for 2 dips (pay for an additional dip) and they never send me another. They send me just one dip that’s not enough for me to eat my pizza with and my leftover pizza goes to vain!!
Atleast check your order before sending!

Ordered a tandoori panner and chatpatta pizza from this place. Was excited to try it out, especially given the desi twist to the pizza. When we picked up the pizza, we were surprised to see how different it looked compared to the pictures. When we called the store to let them know the pizza was missing toppings they said it was because we didn't indicate spice level. Are you crazy? So you just decide to not include certain toppings (even though the description of the pizza specifically states these toppings) just because I didn't specify a spice level? You should tell me these toppings are optional then or make it mandatory to pick a spice level before completing the order. Absolutely insane. Will never order from here again. Have tried their tandoori paneer pizza with extra cheese and spice. Absolutely loved it can’t stop ordering it. Very friendly staff aswell, Hope it’s stays good!
