I was a little disappointed with the baguette that I bought this week. It looked great and felt a bit heavy for its size. When I cut it open I saw why. It really lacked the air bubbles that one expects in this bread> To be honest, it was more like a sandwich loaf that had been stretched out and scored. Crumb was like that of a normal load of bread.
