Awesome Arts

Visited D Spot around 4 PM today, had such a lovely experience. I tried the croffle and a milkshake—both were absolutely delicious. The croffle was perfectly crisp, and the milkshake was rich and creamy.

The staff at the counter was super friendly and welcoming, Great vibes, Will definitely be coming back!

We’ve always had great experiences at the Oshawa location, so while running errands in Pickering we decided to stop by this location expecting similar service and quality. Unfortunately, this visit left us disappointed and confused.
When we arrived, the restaurant was empty except for three staff members, yet we were not greeted or acknowledged. We seated ourselves and waited over 10 minutes with no service. Eventually, we got up, found the menus near the cash register ourselves, and returned to our table—still with no interaction from staff.
After waiting longer, we went back up to the counter to place our order. When the food was ready, we were called up to pick it up ourselves, and the tray was precariously balanced on top of the ice cream display, nearly tipping over.
We ordered a funnel cake, waffle, and two lattes. The lattes were served in cardboard to-go cups (despite dining in) and tasted unpleasant—like cardboard or plastic. It was disappointing, especially since the Oshawa location uses proper cups for dine-in and offers much better quality and service.
There was no follow-up on our order, no staff checking in, and no clear place to return our tray or dishes. We left our items on the table and left, feeling unwelcome and unsatisfied.
I won’t be returning to this location, but will continue visiting the Oshawa store, where the team clearly values customer service and the overall experience.

Was rushed to finish my dessert 19 minutes before closing. Very unprofessional and felt rushed.

This ice cream and waffle parlour is absolutely fantastic. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a sweet treat. The menu is massive, with an incredible selection of waffles, desserts, cakes, and ice cream that will satisfy any craving. From classic flavors to unique and creative options, there's something for everyone. The service is top notch, with friendly and attentive staff who are happy to answer questions and make recommendations. And the best part... The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the strawberry waffle with ice cream, and it was love at first bite. The waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the ice cream was creamy and sweet. The ambiance is beautiful, with modern decor and plenty of natural light. And parking is a breeze, with a huge lot right outside. Overall, this place is a must visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Be prepared to indulge and enjoy every moment. The quality of food and exceptional service make it a perfect spot for any occasion.

The food here was great. The customer service was amazing and the presentation was nice as well. However, the place is kinda small and hard to get cozy in.

The service was great but the desserts we ordered were not. The funnel cake was really thick so it soaked up a lot of oil when it was served. Not crispy at all. The cake we got almost tasted a week old. It was sitting in the fridge, cut up and served. I love funnel cakes and was so excited that D spot had it but not worth the money as the starting price for the dish is $20.

Expensive, but so good. Nice people. Echo-y place, can be noisy. But comfortable enough.

When I visit places like this, I often think about Jack Rabbit Slim's from Pulp Fiction, especially the scene where Vincent Vega is shocked by the price of a milkshake being five dollars. Here, the milkshakes are almost twelve dollars. What would be considered a shocking price for a milkshake in today's world? Would a twenty-dollar milkshake be surprising?

I digress, I got cardmom love. It had cardamom and pistachio in it. I really enjoyed the shake, the flavour of the cardamom came up very clearly. The location is nice. It's a little pricey to go on the regular, but I liked it.

Highly recommend one dessert for two people. We got carried away and got one each. Way too much sweetness.
