Daal Roti Indian Tadka House

We have ordered two dishes chicken matka masala and chicken lababdar both had same tandoori chicken pieces inside which were cold. Taste wasn't good either. Very disappointed.

One of the worst buffet I have had in my life.
TASTELESS gravies, very limited snacks and dessert. They are nowhere near to the Dal Roti in mississauga

$20 buffet is a steal deal.
But food was not at all good. Limited buffet( ofcourse as expected in the price they offered) but naan and rotis were dried. Food tasted as if they were old. Should have maintained the buffet with more care. Everything was below average.
I am sure if you place an order, it might be fresh, but if you are looking for buffet, stay away rather go for a better restaurant and have thali.

Good food !

Visited Dal Roti in Pickering and absolutely loved the food! The flavors were authentic and satisfying. Special thanks to Megha for her excellent service she was attentive and welcoming throughout. The complimentary gulab jamuns on the occasion of Rakshabandhan were a sweet touch that made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend this place!

The food was absolutely delicious .every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The dining experience was made even better by the excellent customer service provided by Megha. She was warm, attentive, and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. Her friendly attitude and professionalism truly enhanced the experience. Highly recommended!

Just stay away from this place!

In the last two years, I’ve eaten here three times, and the quality has gotten worse each time. Today, we came as a family of seven for the buffet. Yes, it’s one of the cheapest options, but that doesn’t mean you can serve terrible food.
The food was absolutely disgusting and tasted stale. There were almost no options, and even the salad section was very limited. The tandoori chicken tasted like it was at least three days old and just reheated — no flavor at all.
The only things we could actually eat were the daal and roti. For a weekend buffet, that’s a very poor selection. On the plus side, they didn’t charge us the additional 15% gratuity for groups of six or more.
Honestly, this place should just shut down.
My advice: spend an extra $10 per person and go somewhere decent.

We order kaju curry and cheese butter masala (Jain) and i must say they main taste so well , also customer service was really great, they also offered some frieum for my baby and as it was my husband birthday they also gave some complimentary gulabjamun to make our day more sweet

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one deserves a warning label.

I ordered a tandoori roti, and what I got was something that looked like it had been forgotten in the tandoor… and then run over by a truck. It was dry, hard as a brick, and had the texture of cardboard left out in the sun. I’ve had better rotis at gas station cafeterias—and that’s saying something.

You’d think for the prices they charge, they’d at least get the basics right. But nope. Total disappointment from start to finish.

Not a good place to eat. The food looked like muck and I got sick afterwards, as if they poured a bunch of salt and food colouring with it.

The restaurant literally looked like a jail, quite depressing in there. I'm not sure how this place continues to stay in business, but I hope they do change.
