The beer isn't typically what you'd find in north america.

Great little spot, off the beaten path. A variety of great beers, most are British-style ales, served on nitro tap, and it has a full bottle shop! Patio in the summer months, and dogs are always welcome!

You might not want a black cat to cross your path, but this Black Katt, found at C'est What Durham Brewing Co., is welcome to do so. Frequently! All the beers at C'est What are exceptionally smooth, and, due to the blast of nitrogen added to each can, lusciously creamy. Here, the character of the beer is based on traditional English ales, careful experimentation, and the richness of knowledge and experience that comes from a master brewer's decades of experience. Were it solely a mellow, malty red, the Red Dragon would be a very good red indeed. The careful, creative use of hops in the red gives it a zest and burst of flavour that elevates it far above its peers. This is craft! The Hop Addict is a marvelous construct: a being of refined taste -- bold without being brash, with a complex mix of complementary flavours; and, a heady, delicate perfume. C'est What Durham Brewing Co. is where one goes to experience a certain type of magic not easily found; the transformation of a style of beer from ordinary to aspirational by the creative and delicate tuning of a few ingredients...over many decades. C'est parfait!

I went to this brewery yesterday and loved the beer I got to have. The person behind the counter was friendly and told me and my friend the history behind C'est What Durham Brewing.

Durham's ESB is the best beer in the world, bar none! It is the most balanced beer when it comes to bitterness and smoothness. The outdoor patio was great, and Jason was an excellent server. Well done!

One beer on tap, others in cans. Parking lot patio. A bit lacking in ambiance but there aren't many alternatives in the area.
