Andrew was our server yesterday and he was fabulous. He’d clearly served many families with young kids before and his timing, suggestions, and execution were perfect. The rest of the staff were really friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was hot and fresh-tasting. We’d only ever been to the Scarborough location before which has always been a little lacking, but this Pickering location is clearly managed really well and we were all very satisfied with our decision to come here. I went to find at east sides a little while ago and I have to say I felt so incredibly welcomed! My family and I had Hasna as our waitress and she was so sweet and considerate to those of us taking our time while looking at the menu. I can’t stop telling my friends to go grab some food, amazing experience! Well done!!

I like the atmosphere and the choses of menu food. The prices can't be beat. Our waitress Katie was excellent. Superb service. The food? Mediocre. It is more Italian Canadian. Not my choice if I want some real good Italian food.

Fist time at Eastside Mario's Pickering location. Upon entering I was struck with how loud it was . We were promptly seated as we had reservations for 5 of us. We were the first to arrive and were assured by the staff that the rest of our party will be escorted to our table when they arrive. This was done. Our waitress name was Danielle and she was excellent. So for service, Esatside Mario's scored very high. But, the food (entree) is another story. While the soup, salad and bread were all very good, my entree (veal parmigiana) was stone cold. Not just the veal but the whole entree including the pasta. The table concensus was that the entrees at the very best were just at room temperature to mildly warm. When I brought it to the attention of our waitress she promptly addressed our concerns without fuss or bother, apologizing throughout. Would I recommend Eastside Mario's Pickering? NO, for the food and ambience, and YES if you want good service (ask for Danielle)

Everything was ok in general. What is making me give this experience a 3-star is that we were celebrating a birthday and mentioned it but didn't get anything special (I would have been happy to pay extra). We just felt we were rushed out.
