First visit, overall an average experience. Notable disappointment for me was that the plain waffle was marked as $5 on their menu inside on 2 places AND on their website but then was billed for $8, and the cashier told me the price was updated but not reflected anywhere yet. That's false advertising. I was disappointed with this marked up price without properly updating your menu/ads.
The plain waffle tasted good and looked nice..but was flat, more like a toasted pancake? Is it worth $8 before tax? No, in my opinion. $5 seemed reasonable for the waffle, but inflation as we know... The Raffaelo sauce for $1.50 extra was just a little drizzle over half the waffle. The shape of it was aesthetic if you're into that.
The vanilla shake was good, not overly sweet. This was almost $10, and had a lot of foam. Overall ok.
Service was subpar. The guy server was nice, but the cashier girl was not very welcoming. Service was a bit disappointing. The order took a long time to come to the table, and waffle was a not warm, but room temp/cool. Before it arrived a different female server came to the table and asked if there was anything more we wanted (felt like she was checking if we were leaving soon) when I hadn't received my order yet.
Overall, average experience. Total of almost $20 for the 2 items. Likely won't return but it was nice to see what the hype was about. It is an aesthetic atmosphere.

We just randomly went to have a dessert. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was friendly. While I enjoyed my visit, it’s not necessarily a place I’d rush back to. Maybe it was the price, the portion sizes, or just personal preference, but overall, it was a nice experience, just not a must-repeat for me.

Overall, this place is great—the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is undeniably aesthetic. However, if you’re planning to celebrate a birthday here, I’d strongly advise against it.
I recently went with a friend to celebrate her birthday over a nice brunch, expecting a pleasant experience. What I didn’t expect, however, was a mandatory $5 birthday fee. Now, the fee itself wasn’t the issue—what truly annoyed me was what we got in return. You’d think that, at the very least, the staff would make an effort to acknowledge the occasion—perhaps a simple song, a warm gesture, or even just a friendly “Happy Birthday.” But no. Instead, they silently dropped off a lit candle, walked away without a word, and that was it. No enthusiasm, no effort, nothing.
It felt like we were being charged extra just for the privilege of having a candle on the table. If you’re going to enforce a birthday fee, at least provide an experience that justifies it. The lack of effort was not only disappointing but also came across as indifferent and borderline disrespectful. Birthdays are meant to feel special, and unfortunately, this place completely missed the mark.

Quite surprised to be let down from a place that has a 4.9 rating on Google.. overpriced food was served cold after waiting for a very long time & drinks were inconsistent and mid as well. There are much better places for brunch in the GTA!

Everything is average and so slow. The family was going nuts waiting for coffee and waffles.

wanted to try a new place so came around 1pm. ordered at 1:08pm and was told there was a bit of a wait and i said no problem. we only ordered a latte, waffle, croissant, side of scrambled eggs, and an ice’cchino so i figured it wouldn’t be that long. we sat for over 35 minutes before a server randomly brought some tea and didn’t say anything to us about our order so we left it there. at the 40 minute mark and after noticing that everyone who came after us was getting their food and drinks i asked for a refund. they were kind enough to give us a refund however i will not come back here again, there is no reason to ever wait 40+ minutes for an order unless it’s a completely packed restaurant on a holiday. my guess is that they lost the chit for our order but you could’ve communicated that to us or at the very least brought our drinks. the owner did not seem to care nor apologize to us. the restaurant itself is very beautiful on the inside but can’t justify waiting so long to get nothing and leave without even eating/drinking.

After much anticipation, I finally made it to Heaffles Waffles, and the experience was well worth the wait.
The cozy, clean atmosphere immediately set a welcoming tone, and I was excited to find the Coconut Rush flavor on the menu. It’s the perfect blend of fresh strawberries, coconut shreds, and Rafaello—absolutely delicious. A nice touch was the staff writing my name in chocolate sauce on the plate, adding a personalized feel to the visit.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my sweet waffle, I’d love to see more savory options, like a savory waffle, to balance things out, as a sweet waffle can feel like a lot for a full meal.
The drinks were nothing out of the ordinary but the waffle is worth trying for a unique post-meal dessert!

I really don't know what else to say; great food, great people, great atmosphere. It's certainly a place I frequent and that's not going to change any time soon!

Definitely the best coffee shop around. The coffee is consistently amazing and their food specials are next level. Haven't had anything I do not like.

Best Cafe in the east end. The service really sets this place apart. One time I mistakenly entered the shop an hour after closing. Yousef was so friendly, he graciously offered me a seat and made a cappuccino. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!

Waffles were good. Fruits/toppings fresh. Nice little café-style atmosphere. The annoying thing is that they have these giant electronic menu screens but they don’t show the full menu. No printed copies or QR codes either. You have to google to see your options. Staff rolled his eyes at me when I asked about the menu and again when asked about beverages other than the coffees on the screen.
