I just ate at Helmand Kabab, and the food was amazing! I tried the Manto and Afghan Wrap, and both were so delicious and full of authentic Afghan flavor. The dishes were fresh, well-seasoned, and served hot. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty Afghan cuisine and a cozy atmosphere!

Good tasty food. Ordered their Shawarma plate which comes with fries and sauce on top i addition to salad. That was really tasty and filling and decent price of 12$ too.
The staff did mention wait of about 7-10 mins which was fine.
Friendly staff.
Recommended for sure!

I don’t usually do reviews for places but this is the best shawarma ever so I think it deserves it. Me and my family orders shawarma here almost every day and it never disappoints us. I really recommend this place to everyone in this area because it’s really delicious. It’s also really cheap, 1 shawarma is only $6 and compared to other shawarma places this is extremely good.

Easily the worst shawarma in the GTA. One half was hot, the other half was cold — like they couldn’t even bother to heat it properly. Tasted awful and felt slapped together with zero care. Total waste of money.

Legit hidden gem. These guys have solid food... was my first time trying Afgan food and they were super helpful and friendly. Ended up getting the Lamb shank and I'll be back. Portions are big enough that you'll have leftovers. You can tell that their food is made with love & care. 10/10 would recommend.

I was thoroughly disappointed with this place. I ordered chicken shwarma. The guy probably had no clue how to make this shwarma. He used thin bread, and the accompaniments were sub-standard. To make things worse, he added the ranch of some kind. The bread became mushy, and the dressing was all over my clothes despite precautions. For me, it was an experience, and I will ever visit this place. A recipe for failure.

I ordered the lamb chops and beef kefta. It was delicious! The rice was very flavourful. Prices were very decent. I will be ordering from here again.

We ordered the family platter for 10. The mantu was good. The tandoori Chicken and chaplee kabobs had a stale smell. The chicken tikka and beef kabobs were good. I did not try the lamb chops. They gave more than enough rice. It could easily feed 15 people without the protein.

The food used to be great in both quality and quantity. However, when I ordered the same item today, the portion was noticeably smaller—almost half of what I received last time.
