First time trying Ippon, and it was very good. Something that stood out to me was the portion size - perfect, as I don’t like to be overfull. The broth is very rich and flavourful. Great service and the restaurant itself feels very clean.
I was thrilled to have stumbled upon this hidden gem in Pickering! The Black Knight ramen is incredibly tasty; the pork broth with black garlic was perfect for my palate. While the black garlic oil was excellent, the torched Chashu slices truly awakened my taste buds! Unlike typical Chashu with a heavy fatty layer, these slices were trimmed of fat, braised until tender, and then expertly torched to enhance their flavor.

I went with my boyfriend a couple days ago, and the food was so good! Their pork gyoza was amazing served with house made sauce by the chef. We had their beef ramen, it was flavourful, hot and fresh. And the portions were great!! We are literally going to get ippon ramen again this week because it’s so goof😂
