This is my go-to fish and chips restaurant. I’ve been to others but this place is absolutely the BEST! Their halibut is generous in size, thick with a batter so crispy and light. There was no oily taste to it and it’s always cooked perfectly. They are generous with their tartar sauce too! The French fries are always freshly done, it’s amazing! The mashed peas go so well with everything too.
A real family fish and chip shop in the true tradition, selling various additional items popular from Scotland. Top quality, generous pieces of halibut, seafood platter for a selection of fish, shrimp and scallops, haggis and mushy peas mean you’ll have a great choice. eating here and doing take out since I was 12, that has been forty years, From Mom and Dad to now their son and his wife and kids running it. Great place and great family and great food.
