Any good review is a paid review here.

The food here is 50/50. Sometimes great sometimes terrible. The days it’s terrible, you better not say a word because they will come for you.

It’s like the owners have never been to a restaurant themselves. If you make any complains about the food, they bring the chef out and berate her infront of you, blaming her for the “loss”. Anytime you say anything the owner will act like you slapped god. They never take any accountability and will force things on you. We ordered a $15 omelette, and it was just 1 plain egg the size of a child’s fist with a paratha the size of my head. On the menu the egg looks like a proper quantity so when we argued they said “we made it so you have to pay for it”

My family just came out of here and we spent over $500 (20+ ppl) and these guys didn’t want to make the omelette situation right. We got the brain which was salty and we went back so they could maybe fix it but instead they said take some yoghurt and fix it yourself.

The lassis are flavoured water. And if you tell them this isnt what a lassi should taste like they’ll tell you this is the best way and we have to drink it.

I’ve unfortunately come here 4 times each time hoping for better service but they just get worst. I order the maghaz (brain) every time for my wife and every time we get it it’s a different size and different taste.
Portions get smaller each time. ”

My maghaz was salty so he gives yogurt?!!! Not even offering a quick remake. $500 and these guys fought the heaven and earth to avoid fixing an omelette and a maghaz.

You just lost 5 families who eat out regularly as business. I have NEVER experienced a restaurant with an attitude like this.

Save the chef. It’s not her fault management is garbage. Any complains and the chef gets insulted in front of you. I’m not even kidding I felt so bad for her, girl if you read this, you don’t deserve that you can get a better job and go to labour board for bad working conditions. The owner cannot bring you to do customer service as a chef and insult you.

Karahi Hut is a hidden gem that truly delivers on authentic Pakistani taste!

Their butter naan with sesame seeds is absolutely incredible — perfectly soft, fluffy, and with that delicious nutty flavor from the sesame seeds that makes it stand out from the rest.

Their halwa puri breakfast is a must-try! The puris are crispy, the halwa is rich and fragrant, and everything together feels like a warm, comforting treat straight from home.

And of course, the star of the show: their Karahi Shanwari Chicken. It’s simply amazing — juicy, tender pieces of chicken cooked in a beautifully spiced, flavorful karahi gravy that is just bursting with authentic Pakistani flavors. You can really tell the care and expertise that goes into this dish.

I highly recommend Karahi Hut if you’re looking for a place with great taste, generous portions, and an authentic experience.

We had our brunch today with family at **Karahi Hut – pickering branch**, and it was an amazing experience!

The **paratha, chana, aloo ka salan, and puri Nihari has room for improvement , were all incredibly delicious — honestly better than many restaurants we've tried in the Durham region. This was definitely one of my best brunch experiences.

The restaurant is **compact but tidy and clean**, and the **staff is polite and humble**. I would confidently give it a **4-star rating** and will definitely be coming back with friends and family.

Highly recommended!

I ordered 2 time goat Karahi and chicken karahi
The goat karahi was full of bones
The chicken looks boiled on the water and full of yogurt
No test. and compare to point and boys karahi to pricy

We had breakfast here today and all of the food items were delicious 10/10! Highly recommend their omelette and paratha, nihari, and nashta. Tasty and not super oily. Service could be improved however, we had to flag down the employees to help us. I didn't feel they were very attentive. The chai wasn't really good. We will be back!
