Been shopping here since we discovered the stores throughout Durham about a year ago while in North Oshawa. Since we live in Toronto, this one is the closest. Amazing staff, some fantastic products, some are a bit pricey, but they are shipped from the UK, so worth the additional costs. Fresh baked goods are amazing. The pies selection is fantastic, our Fave is steak and onion. I love the discounts they offer for items that have gone past their sell by date. Best before doesn't mean bad after ;-) Member discounts are awesome too. You guys are doing a great job.

Great little store for delicious meat pies, paties, scones and many other British food items. Homemade goodies that look professional.Best take home Mother's Day tea which we thoroughly enjoyed two years in a row. Hopefully, we will be able to partake of this next year as well.Keep it up Perks family...you are appreciated for the British touch.

I have shopped here many times and will continue to for as long as they are open! The staff are very friendly and helpful! Great selection of products! Baked goods are as good as you will get this side of the world! Nothing will ever beat the real thing but these are possibly the best around! Lots of effort put in by the family to provide an excellent service

Love the staff and the service they provide. Amazing pies and sausage rolls. The bakery is always filled with fresh eclairs and Victoria sponge cakes and more. My favorite place to shop.

Have shopped at the locations in Port Perry,Oshawa Mall & Pickering, all a delight, friendly staff, great food & great selection. My only complaint is,I am putting on weight with all the sweet stuff I am consuming. Would highly recommend. a little bit of home from home.

I ordered a selection of Scotch Eggs, Cornish Pasties, Scones and Clotted Cream for our daughter's wedding this weekend, and couldn't have been more pleased! My daughter married a Cornish gentleman who has never been to Canada. He was thrilled with the quality and taste of the food from Kings Cross! "Just like home", he said. Our guests who have never had British food, were delighted and asked where we got everything. I will return again, and would like to thank Irene for her excellent service. Thank you!!

One star is stretching it. The lady working behind the counter was extremely rude for no reason at all. Zero customer service skills. I went in with the intention of spending a good amount. I left without buying anything because of how rude she was. I refuse to support a business that treats you like garbage.

Irene is an angel! We were looking all around durham region for Ready Brek cereal and could not find it anywhere. I could purchase from Amazon, but it was over 3X the amount online than it was at Kings Cross. Every location was a simple 'no, we don't carry it'. Irene went above and beyond by calling her contacts from out of the region and got us some delivered to the store in time for when we needed it. The service is exceptional and the sweets are lovely! For British speciality foods, Kings Cross Pickering is the place to go! Thank you a million, Irene!

Terrible customer service, acted like we don't belong in the store . Majority of the shelve items were expired well last their best before dates , some dated for Feb 2022 and April 2022. Disgusting and disgrace to UK. The Whitby store is by far the best yet

Very disappointing. Watch out for expiry dates!! A good amount of goods (that are expensive and full price) are expired.

Diverse selection of British goods. Bakery is of particular interest: Pork sausage rolls and pies are exceptional and absolutely worth the cost. Great service.

Was pretty expensive, pasties were flavourful. The lady working there, was really nice to deal with, knowledgeable and helpful.Onky one person working in the store made for a bit of a line-up, could have done with a lil help, makes me wonder how she gets a tea or lunch break.A good experience though, but a lot more expensive that other import stores.Ann McC

yes yes

The young gentleman deserves a raise. He has outstanding customer service skills. Very polite. However, the lady was definitely a fan of trudeau. Mask "mandates" are over on Monday. This lady insisted that my kids wear a mask, I said they don't have any. She suggested indirectly that they wait outside while I finish shopping. Love the store. Didn't like how my kids felt. BTW her phone rang and she pulled her mask down while on the phone. #bad taste in my mouth
